 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.                            It was a beautiful day to get married as it was sunny today,so a open field traditional wedding was suitable for the bride Edith Okorie and Ifeanyi Ego.All roads leads to Ikorudu today by their friends and well wishers who have traveled from far and wide to witness the tradition marriage between two tribes.Edith is from Igbanke Edo state,and Ifeanyi is from Enugu state.This shows Nigeria is still practicing one-ness and these marriage might encourage all those that don't want to explore other state in Nigeria to start doing so.I had fun,and there was food and drinks in abundant.I wish Mr and Mrs Ifeanyi Ego,a Happy married life CHEERS.More photos below.
