 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.                                                                H died this morning,following a long time illness.His agent Lynda Ronan said ''He died peacefully and left a host of friends who were his chosen family.He died peacefully this morning after a long illness,bravely fought.His death is a great loss to them and the profession''.Sam Kelly was best known for his portrayal of captain Hans Geering from 1980's BBC comedy,Allo Allo.May his soul rest in peace,Amen.

A BRITON,KIDNAPPED IN PLATEAU STATE.

                  According to sources,a British construction worker is believed to have been kidnapped in central Plateau state.According to captain Ikedichi Iweha,a spokesman for the special Task Force,which is made up of both military and police personnel,said ''The search began after the man failed to show up for work on Saturday morning''.They are suspecting the Boko Haram,a.k.a,B.H,might be behind the kidnapping.Iweha refused to comment further or give any further details.
