 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

A PASSENGER WHO DIED AT THE MURTALA MUHAMMED AIRPORT IS EBOLA FREE.

            According to the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria {FAAN}.Mr Yakobu Dati said ''The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria wishes to inform the public that a Nigerian passenger residing in Accrs who arrived Lagos for business transactions aboard on Arik Air flight on friday August 8,2014 has died at the Murtala Mohammad Airport Ikeja,on his way back to Accra.The passenger Mr Akunne Osei took ill on saturday,August 9 and started stooling.When the situation got worse,he called his doctor in Accra who instructed him to return to Ghana immediately for further treatment.During boarding formalities for his return trip to Accra,at the international terminal of MMA,Mr Osei,who had obviously become weak at this time was subjected to Ebola virus test by Port health officials,the result of which was negative.No further attention was paid to him after his Ebola virus result reads negative but he later slumped and died.Around the port health office.This rel...
