 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.              According to spokesman for the National Emergency management Agency{NEMA},he said the explosion was of a lower intensity than the last tuesday.The scene of the explosion was near a viewing centre where people watch football matches.The Commissioner of police for Plateau state said the death toll so far is three and that includes the bomber.The car bomb exploded around 9.30pm on saturday but it was not disclosed to us by the police if it was a suicide attack.
