 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. NIGERIAN POLICE RETRACTS BAN ON MISSING GIRLS CAMPAIGN.

           According to sources,the Nigerian police said today that protesters were free to match in Abuja after an uproar over comments by the police commissioner in which he appeared to ban demonstrations over the missing Chibok Borno missing girls.Joseph Mbu made a statement on monday in which he appeared to forbid protests on grounds that they could be hijacked by dangerous elements who could threaten state security.

           The accused,50 year old Osaro Benjamin and 26 years old Idowu Eriemator,both employees of Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin,allegedly conspired and committed the offence on 12 May 2014,at thw morgue of the hospital,located along County Home road off Sapele road.They both stole from one late Mrs Esther Akora.They stole her gold earrings,gold necklace and a gold wedding ring all valued at N4million.They were both arraigned before a magistrate court for conspiracy and stealing.They both pleaded not guilty.The magistrate granted both of them bail but not withstanding,If they are both convicted,they could face two to three years jail term.
