PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. Over the past 70 years, The Queen has received daily papers from her Private Secretaries, in person or via a red despatch box. Pictured: Moses in an undated mugshot The founder of Black Lives Matter Memphis has been sentenced to six years in prison for illegally registering to vote after pleading guilty to felonies in 2015. Pamela Moses, 44, voted illegally six times since she pleaded guilty to evidence tampering, forgery, perjury, stalking and theft under $500, seven years ago.  The activist is now claiming she was unaware she was still on probation, which lasted seven years, and believed her voting rights were reinstated in 2019. 'I did not falsify anything. All I did was try to get my rights to vote back the way the people at the election commission told me and the way the clerk did,' she said at her sentencing hearing on January 26. ANAMBRA: TRUCKS COLLIDED AT DMGS ROUNDABOUT,CONSIGNMENT OF GLASSES SHATTER. (PHOTOS).

Two trucks conveying consignment of glasses to a nearby warehouse collided at DMGS roundabout, Onitsha with the contents of the vehicles breaking into pieces.  According to an eye witness, one of the trucks had a break failure and while trying to avoid the popular DMGS Roundabout, Onitsha, swerved into the wrong lane, and collided with the other truck which was also ladden with same goods that they were supposed to deliver at a nearby warehouse.  The glasses broke into pieces. RESIDENTS PANIC AS 40 SUSPECTED 'YAHOO BOYS ' DRESSED IN WHITE STORM ABUJA ESTATE. (PHOTO).

No fewer than 40 suspected internet fraudsters dressed in white were stopped from entering Mab Global Estate in the Gwarinpa area of the Federal Capital Territory. It was gathered that security personnel manning the gate of the estate prevented them from accessing the estate around 11:45 pm on Friday. According to residents, the suspected fraudsters said they came to honour a birthday party at a plot in which no celebration was happening. They said the young guys were with bags and appeared as if they were up for a ‘ritual’. The Chief Security Officer of the estate, Denis Omala, said they reinforced and came back around 2:30 am. He said he had to call for reinforcement to subdue them. Omala said, “Over 40 suspected Yahoo boys attempted to breach the estate security on Friday night. “They dressed in white attempted to gain entrance into the estate around 11:45 pm but were not allowed in. “They could not provide the requisite information on the particular house number that was expected. ...

In a town hall meeting held at Fulbe Villa Hotel, Gasau, Zamfara State, the representatives of the seven states which made up the north-west zone gathered to plan on how best to support Mr. Chibuike Amaechi come 2023.
