 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. ACTOR DESMOND ELLIOT,WINS SURULERE CONSTITUENCY 1,UNDER THE APC.

                             According to the Independent National Electoral Commission {INEC}returning officer,Dr Mariam Quadri,declared Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot,of the All Progressives Congress {APC} the winner of Surulere constituency 1.She said ''That Desmond Olusola Elliot of APC,having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes,is hereby declared winner and is returned elected''.Desmond Elliot of the APC scored 23,141 votes while Mr Bayo Smith of the PDP came second with 12,546 votes.Mrs Mosunmola Sangodara Rotimi of the PDP,won Surulere constituency 2.Mean while checkout Demond Elliot fans blessing him with wine.One more picture below.
