 Abiodun Eulogises Otegbola as Former Senator is Laid to Rest Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Thursday, described Senator Ayodeji Otegbola as a distinguished politician and a patriotic Nigerian who dedicated his life to public service and the development of Ogun State and the nation. Abiodun made the remarks at the funeral service of the late Senator Otegbola, held at the African Church St. Paul's Cathedral, Lagos East Diocese, Ilupeju, Lagos State. He said that the deceased made impactful contributions to the development of the country as a Senator and as a former chairman of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA). 2 NIGERIANS,RAHEEM AND SILVESTER+OTHERS,TO FACE FIRING SQUAD TODAY IN INDONESIA OVER DRUG RELATED CHARGES.

                                 According to sources,Nigerians,Raheem Agbaje Salami and Silvester Obikwe,and a Ghanaian,Martin Anderson,are among nine persons to be executed in Indonesia thursday for drug related charges.They were members of an 8.3kg herion.They were convicted of  attempting to smuggle the drugs out of Indonesia  to Australia in 2005.They were sentenced to death in February 2006 and have been living in Kerobokan prison in Bali.The other criminals that are due to face the firing squad are,Filipina Mary Jane Fiesra Veloso,Serge Areski Atlaoui of France,Zainal Abidin from Indonesia,and Rodrigo Gularte,a paranoid Schizophrenic man from Brazil whose family has desperately fought to be transferred to a hospital.The transfer of the Bali nine to Nusakambangan was initially delayed by the logistics of carrying out the execution of nine people at once.

32 SUSPECTS,PARADED BY THE POLICE IN AKWA IBOM STATE YESTERDAY,OVER DIFFERENT OFFENCES.

                                       Yesterday wednesday in Akwa Ibom state,32 suspects were paraded over an allege involvement in different criminal activities including rape,defilement,child and human trafficking.First story was a four year old child was allegedly sold for N55,000,was recovered and reunited with his family.According to the Assitant Commissioner of Police Mike Okoro,who said that ''The child Bright Mbaka,was stolen on January 17 by one Grace Uwem,a cousin to the victim's mother.He said the child was passed through a chain of suspects in Port Harcourt,Rivers state,and finally to Mma Charity and Rehabilitation home in Isiala Ngwa south Local Government Area of Abia state.The child was allegedly hand over to the proprietor of the home,one Lilian Mma Achumbs who also doubles as the PDP women leader in the state,adding that seven suspects have all confessed to the crime.The...
