 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. CONGO ARRESTED A WAR CRIMINAL ''NTAGANZWA'' YESTERDAY,WANTED FOR THE 1994 RWANDA GENOCIDE.

                                   It was reported today that yesterday wednesday according to Rwanda's Prosecutor General Richard Muhumuza said in a statement that the Democratic Republic of Congo has arrested a former mayor accused of orchestrating a massacre that killed tens of thousands of people during Rwanda's 1994 genocide.Ladislas Ntaganzwa,who headed the commune of Nyakizu in southern Rwanda,was indicted in 1996 and his accused of genocide,direct and public incitement to commit genocide,direct and public incitement to commit genocide as well as extermination,murder and rape.''The National Public Prosecution Authority is pleased to announce the recent arrest of Ladislas Ntaganzwa,one of the last fugitive suspects sought by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda''.The tribunal's indictment,updated in 2012,accuses Ntaganzwa of plotting to exterminate Rwanda's Tutsi population and personally ordering the massacre of more than 20,0000 Tutsi c

COURT DEFERS BAIL RULING FOR DOKPESI TILL NEXT WEEK.

                 Today thursday,Justice Gabriel Kolawole has deferred ruling in the bail application filed by Chief Raymond Dokpesi,the founder of Daar communications,who is being tried by the Federal Government on six count charges of violation of Public Procurement laws and money laundering.Before the Judge ordered Raymond Dokpesi to be returned to EFCC custody,the Judge listened to Mike Ozekhome,counsel for Dokpesi and Rotimi Jacobs,counsel for the Federal Government on why Dokpesi should not be granted bail.The Judge then adjourned ruling till noon 14th of December 2015.

20 GHANAIAN JUDGES,DISMISSED RECENTLY FROM THEIR POSTS.

                     According to sources,20 Ghanaian lower court Judges were dismissed from their posts following allegations of corruption.Earlier this year,Ghanaian investigative journalist Anas released a video apparently showing dozens of judges and their intermediaries accepting money to change court out come.The scandal has rocked faith in the Ghanaian Justice system.The implications of this scandal are far from over.There are still more than 10 High Court judges who've been temporally suspended pending a further investigation,after which they will all face criminal prosecution..
