                       The trial of Azibaola Robert,a cousin to former President Goodluck Jonathan,was stalled today thursday,October 6,2016 as the PW2,Olabode Farinuola was unavoidably absent in court to continue his testimony.Azibaola,his wife,Stella and their company,One Plus Holdings,are standing trial on a 7-count charge of money laundering,criminal breach of trust and corruption brought againt them by the EFCC,before Justice Nnamdi O Dimgba of the Federal High Cort sitting in Maitama,Abuja.The defendants were alleged to have diverted $40million {forty million US dollars} purportedly meant for the supply of Tactical Communication Kits for Special Forces which was transferred from the Account of the Office of the National Security Adviser,ONSA,with the Central Bank of Nigeria to the domiciliary account of their company,On Plus Holdings.One more photo below.

                  Senate President Bukola Saraki took to his social media few minutes ago,to announce that ''Delighted that we were able to pass the Amendment to Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund today in Nigerian Senate.This bill when signed will go a long way in diversifying our economy towards making it self sustainable,with this Bill,agriculture will take the driving seat to create employment and economic development.We will also take it a step further by forging a legislative frame work to support actualization of this bill to protect credit financiers,oversight on those that will be involved in disbursement as well as ensure that all stakeholders meet their financial obligations''.

                    Unknown gunmen invaded a school today called Igbo Nla Model College in a speedboat,and kidnapped the principal.The school is located around Epe,Lagos State.Sources said that the gunmen suspected to be militants stormed the school in the morning today thursday,but it is not clear if the unknown gunmen abducted any students of the school.Though in the midst of the chaos,Special Anti-Robbery Squad {SARS} have been deployed to the school for a rescue mission.The  State Commissioner of Police,Fatai Owoseni,confirmed the incident,saying the police are on an aerial surveillance of the area.He said ''The command,the navy,the SS,the army and the marine police are all involved in the search''.

                 According to sources,a total of 4,116 buses valued N37 billion have been delivered to beneficiaries nationwide under the Federal Government's Public Mass Transit Revolving Fund {PMTF} Scheme.The Managing Director of The Infrastructure Bank,Mr Adekunle Oyinloye,state this in a paper he presented at a National Workshop for Chief Executive Officers of Mass Transit Companies in Abuja.Oyinloye said the buses were released to mass transit companies to provide cheap and affordable road transport services to Nigerians across the six geo-political zones and the FCT.According to him,the vehicles were provided under phase I and II of the N25 billion PMT scheme being managed by the Infrastructure Bank.He stated that the scheme has also empowered over 50,000 Nigerians,including bus drivers,bus assistants,auto-technicians and booking clerks,through direct employment.''In addition,the scheme has thrived in reducing poverty and enhancing reg...
