 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.              It happened at a NBA game when both Rihanna and police commission president Steve Soboroff,wanted to take a selfie together to show support for the LAPD at the clippers NBA play off game against the Oklahoma city Thunder on friday.The accident payed off at the end because after the smashing of the phone incident,she handed $25,000 to a charity fund for officers.More photos below.

            41 years old Gwyneth Paltrow will co star with Nigerian,but born in Britain actor Chiwetel Ejiofor in the high profile remake of the Spanish movie THE SECRET IN THE EYES,which won the Academy Award for Best foreign language film in 2009.The film is a crime thriller that will be shot in the fall in Boston.Ejiofor will play a former MI-5 agent who returns to Boston on a joint task force with the FBI,still obssessed by the unsolved murder that continues to haunt him.As he inches closer to solving the crime,he uncovers a shocking truth that will shed a terrifying new light on past events.Gwyneth would likely play Irene,who works in the justice department in the original Spanish version.That character was played by Soledad Villami.More photos below.                                                           ...

             28 year old Lady Gaga stripped almost naked on stage at Madison Square Gardens,for her Artpop tour yesterday tuesday in New York.She was wearing just a nude thong and fishnet tights.Her breast was covered with a patch of fluorescent tape,as her crew helped her into another costume.Before the event Gags tweeted ''I am playing Madison Square Garden tonight.It's my home town arena,and i couldn't feel more grateful and proud to be back.I love NY''.More photos below.

OSCAR PISTORIUS TO UNDERGO MENTAL EVALUATION.

             According to sources,the South African court today wednesday ordered Oscar Pistorius to undergo evaluation for mental illness,a move which could determine whether he lacked criminal capacity when he shot dead his girlfriend.The prosecution had asked for the evaluation after a Psychiatrist told the court on monday that Pistorius who is on trial for murder of Reeva Steen Kamp on February 14,2013,suffered from an anxiety disorder.The prosecutor has argued he wanted to prevent Oscar from later appealing on the basis of a disturbed mental condition {smart move}.The Defence lawyer Barry Roux had argued against the motion,saying it was premature to have the evaluation before he called other witnesses,but the Judge ruled that a mental assessment would ensure that Oscar Pistorius gets a fair trial,adding that she thought it strange that the Defence had opposed the motion.                       ...

            According to sources,the Briton deserted the army and plotted two bombings in Abuja that killed at least 90 people.The international arrest warrant has attracted a reward of 25million naira for any information leading to the arrest of Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche and Rufai Abubakar Tsiga,both suspected members of the boko haram group.Mike Omeri,Director General of the National Orientation Agency part of the Ministry of information  said yesterday that ''The National bureau of interpol in the Nigerian police force has issued an international red alert for the search and arrest of Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche''.
