  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.   •Sanwo-Olu Inspects Project Site Amid Jubilation By Residents Barring any exigency, the long-awaited Agege Pen-Cinema Bridge in Lagos State will fully open to vehicular movement in about eight weeks, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu assured commuters in the axis. The project is said to be at 90 per cent completion; all civil works have already been completed on the bridge. The overpass ascends from Oba Ogunji Road and drops at Oke Koto axis of Agege. The bridge also opens to the old Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway through Abule Egba. When opened for use, it will bring an end to the discomfort currently being experienced by motorists plying Agege-Abule Egba.   The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has revealed that no fewer than 26 robbery cases were foiled and 17 robbery victims rescued by its operatives in the last one month. The Commander, Lagos RRS, DCP Olatunji Disu, who disclosed this in the November 2020 monthly report of the Agency, added that the squad effectively foiled an armed robbery attack at Adeyemo Street, Ijaiye, and thwarted another at Berkley Lane, Old Yaba Road, Ebute Metta, due to the quick intervention of officers on Motorised Patrol. He noted that the RRS operatives also assisted in the recovery of a lost purse containing N115,000 and a Techno Phone valued at N95,000, which fell from the passenger of a commercial motorcycle, stressing that the owner was trailed by the RRS team on patrol to return her items.
