PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. Okija Community Invokes Ogwugwu, Ulasi Deities Against Unknown Gunmen Okija Community in Ihiala local government area has involved the fifteen deities led by Ulasi and Ogwugwu to engage the unknown gunmen and ritualists in a spiritual warfare to stem incidents of ritual killings, kidnapping and raping of village women in the area. This is coming as four suspected native doctors allegedly involved in ritual killings and kidnapping fled the town for fear of incurring the wrath of the deities. ENGINEER,POS OPERATOR JAILED FOR CYBER CRIME IN ILORIN.(PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

Engineer, POS Operator Jailed for Cybercrime in Ilorin The Ilorin Zonal Command of the EFCC has secured the conviction a certain Oyewole Maruf Damilare, who claimed to be an Engineer from Ifedore Local Government Area of Osun State and one Olusanya Idowu Lukman, a PoS operator from Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State. Justice Mahmoud Abdulgafar of the Kwara State High Court, Ilorin convicted and sentenced the duo to various jail terms, having found them guilty of offences bordering on cybercrime and possession of proceeds of illegal activities levelled against them by the EFCC. The Commission arraigned Oyewole on two count charges of cheating by personation and possession of proceeds of unlawful activities, while Olusanya was prosecuted on one count of personation whence he allegedly posed as one Lena Kincy on Facebook to scam unsuspecting victim. Staff of AuGF’s Office’s convicted for Employment Scam in Sokoto Justice Mohammed Mohammed of the Sokoto State High Court has convicted and sentenced Abdullahi Paiko Aliyu , who claims to be a staff of the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation, to 7 years imprisonment on a two count charge bordering on obtaining by false pretences to the tune of over N14 Million. He was convicted after he pleaded guilty to the charges preferred against him by the EFCC. Before he met his waterloo, Paiko had defrauded unsuspecting members of the public under the guise of securing them employments in Federal Agencies, including the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS; National Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC; Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency, NIMASA, and the National Information Technology Development Agency NITDA.. Justice Mohammed also ordered the convict to make full restitution of the said amount (N14, 300, 000) to his victims through the EFCC.
