 Taraba: Police Commissioner Calls for Peaceful Coexistence Between Herders and Farmers The Taraba State Commissioner of Police, Ukachi Peter Opara, has urged for greater peace and understanding between herders and farmers in the state. During a meeting with the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Jalingo on Thursday, Opara highlighted the importance of dialogue and cooperation for long-term development. He emphasized that peaceful coexistence between these groups is crucial for their livelihoods and for fostering economic growth and stability in the state and the nation. HOW WE DISCOVERED RIVERS’ AIRCRAFT SECRETLY ABANDONED IN GERMANY-WIKE Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has said the Rivers State government has through intelligence discovered one of the State owned Legacy 600 aircraft, that was flown to and abandoned in Germany since 2012 by the Governor Chibuike Amaechi led administration. The governor, said it was unconscionable for the immediate past administration to have surreptitiously taken a state owned asset to Germany and abandon same there, without any documentation. Governor Wike, who led a delegation of Rivers leaders to General Atomics Aerotec in Munich, Germany, where the aircraft had been abandoned for ten years, said efforts to repair and retrieve the aircraft has costed the State government over Three Million Euros. United States Embassy Resumes Drop Box Visa Application In Nigeria The United States Embassy in Nigeria has announced the resumption of the drop box service or interview waiver in Nigeria.The Drop Box visa renewal programme allows certain visa applicants who have previously been issued U.S. visas to renew their visas without attending an interview. Nigeria was removed from the waiver eligibility in 2018.

  Anambra Airport Upgrade: Governor Obiano Visits Facility, Anticipates Further Upgrade Following approval by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to Anambra State government to operate Boeing 737-700 aircraft and its equivalent at Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, Governor Willie Obiano paid a visit to the facility to ensure that things are working according to scheduled plans. The Governor inspected some facilities being mounted including the escalators, conveyors, among others, pending further upgrade. FRSC To Remodel Approach To Speed Violation On Anambra Roads With significant reports of traffic mishaps in Anambra State over the past year attributed to overspeeding, the Anambra State Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Mr Adeoye Irelewuyi, says the Command will remodel its approach to checkmating speed violation on Anambra roads. Mr Irelewuyi who disclosed this while discussing preparations of the Command for 2022, said that monitoring would be raised on the installation of speed limiting devices on commercial vehicles while radar guns would also be deployed to detect vehicles running above the prescribed speed. The Anambra FRSC boss also said that a new approach would be adopted monitor minimum safety standards, especially for heavy duty trucks and articulated lorries, with heavy sanctions awaiting defaulting drivers. A 17-year-old, Prosperity Olorunfemi has revealed he became a millionaire at 17. Olorunfemi, who runs a digital business said he came to the realisation after tracking his financial records. Via his LinkedIn page, he said, "So yesterday, I decided to track my financial records and I discovered that my business did a whooping 1.1 million Naira in total credit within six months...I can proudly call myself a self-made millionaire at 17."  

A MAN BURNS BIBLE AFTER HEALING CHALLENGE WITH A PASTOR WENT WRONG. (PHOTOS).

A Nigerian Man, Mathias Ezeaku, the founder of Igbo loves themselves Charity foundation and a freedom fighter, has renounced Christianity and burnt Bible to ashes after three days of healing challenge with a pastor of Fishers Kingdom Ministry Worldwide, Apostle Chinyere, which ended without result at Nkpor in Anambra State. It all started when Ezeaku took to social media where he dared all the Pastors in Africa to prove to him that Jesus Christ truly exists and has the powers to heal. Many pastors rejected the challenge and paid deaf ears to him but Apostle Chinyere accepted the challenge. He accepted and they both made an arrangement and hosted a three-day healing program. The young man brought four physically sick persons for her to heal and she insisted that they should be engaged in a dry fasting. Three days passed without a result, Ezeaku became angry and aggressively disgraced the preacher, and burnt his Bible. More photos below.

In a bid to rid the State of illegal and non-conforming structures, the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) has sealed over 60 buildings in Ikoyi, Amuwo Odofin, Iba, Eti-Osa, Ogudu and Maryland areas for contravening building control laws. A statement issued by the Head, Public Affairs Unit of the Agency, Mrs. Adetayo Akitoye-Asagba, said the buildings were sealed for different contraventions including failure to respond to statutory notices served, non-conformity with approved drawings and absence of certified professionals on-site amongst others.  She disclosed that during a recent monitoring exercise, three distressed structures were identified and consequently sealed in Maryland and Iba areas of Lagos in order to avert any incident. Akitoye-Asagba explained that non-response to notices served by LASBCA and the continued unlawful construction of their property in violation of the physical planning and building control laws of the State led to the enforcement exercise....

EFCC Arrests Suspected Internet Fraudster in Lagos Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested one Michael Jackson for his alleged involvement in internet fraud. He was arrested on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, following the credible intelligence received by the Commission on the illegal activities of some individuals allegedly involved in computer-related fraud.  Jackson, who poses as Ella, a transgender woman, allegedly defrauded unsuspecting victims of millions of Naira. The suspect, who also claimed to be a Disc Jockey, DJ, had in his possession fetish items, which he claimed was “for grace and success.” . More photos below.
