PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.       A letter from Mr Mugabe read out by the speaker of parliament said the decision was voluntary and he had made it to allow a smooth transfer of power. The news abruptly halted an impeachment hearing that had begun against him. The ruling Zanu-PF party says former vice-president Emmerson Mnangagwa will succeed Mr Mugabe, in power since 1980. Mr Mnangagwa's sacking earlier this month triggered a political crisis. It had been seen by many as an attempt to clear the way for Grace Mugabe to succeed her husband as leader and riled the military leadership, who stepped in and put Mr Mugabe under house arrest. Another source said '' Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has resigned, ending his 37-year reign.      Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, has pledged to put in more resources and energy in recruiting school children in the fight against economic and financial crimes. Magu made the pledge today, November 21, 2017 during school debate as part of activities to mark the “Year 2017 International Anti-Corruption Day”.           Last week was a very busy week for me,but I knew I had events to attend so I planned all the outfit I was suppose to wear ahead.The event on thursday was a night event,so I wore a long animal suede skin coat because the night might be cool and truly when I got to the event,the hall was so cold and the Air Condition was not helping out.Now I wore a camisole just in-case the hall is hot I would have removed the coat.On saturday,Lagos is so hot so I wore a long blouse with a long slit infront to allow air to enter my body.I wore a three-quarter black trouser and shoes to match for the hot afternoon.Then on sunday,I wore a light green gown with white dot {poker dot} to church,is very simple but attractive.I carried white purse and wore white pearl to match with the dots on my dress.All this my outfits were planned one week ahead and it will be easy for you to make changes days before hand and even mend your outfit just incase you notice a loose button.Mor...

      The Nigerian Army Council has today Monday 20th November 2017, approved the promotion of 45 Brigadier Generals to the rank of Major Generals and 92 Colonels to the rank of Brigadier Generals respectively. EFCC ARRAIGNS 9 FOREIGNERS,2 NIGERIANS FOR SUSPECTED OIL THEFT TODAY.{PHOTO}

        The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, 21 November, 2017 arraigned nine foreigners, two Nigerians, for suspected oil theft. The foreigners are: Mohammed Ejaz, Naseer Khan(Pakistanis), Oleksandr Nazarenko, Oleksandr kashernvi (Ukrainians), Romeo Annang, Francis Ahorlu, Kwesi Attah( Ghanaians), Victor Mikpayi (Beninois ), Fredrik Fatin Omenu (Indonesian), while their Nigerian acomplices are: Victor Azebiri and David Otuhohi. They were arraigned alongside a company: Asztral Shipping Corporation SA, and a Vessel, MT. TECNE( a.k.a MT STAR), before Justice J.K Omotosho of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on a 4-count charge bordering on conspiracy, dealing in petroleum products without a licence and tampering with oil pipelines.       Lagos State Government on Tuesday met with its bond trustees and other stakeholders of its Bond Issuance Programmes with a promise not to renege on its repayment obligation to the various bondholders as it continues to provide the requisite infrastructure that would match the status of the State. Speaking at the 2017 Annual General Meeting, AGM, of the Lagos State Debt Issuance Programme, the Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Akinyemi Ashade, explained that the bond issuance programme was undertaken by the State Government to consolidate the delivery of sustainable and inclusive economic growth and development across the State. TRAILER CRUSHED OKADA MAN & FEMALE PASSENGER DEAD IN AWKA.{PHOTOS}.

       It was a black Sunday in Awka as a trailer lorry crushed to death a commercial motorcyclist and his female passenger at the Kenneth Dike Library axis of the Awka - Onitsha Expressway. The late cyclist with his passenger entered the expressway from the road leading to Teachers House beside the Library wall and was riding against the traffic when an on coming SUV from the opposite direction hit and brought them down a nd the lorry which was behind the SUV crushed them to death. Policemen who were on election duty were able to stop the trailer driver some metres from the scene of the incident while the SUV driver ran away. Officers of the Road Safety Corps who arrived the scene promptly took away the remains of the victims but refused to talk to journalists. ANAMBRA PHILANTHROPIST BUILDS HOUSE FOR POOR WIDOW+DEDICATES IT AFTER COMPLETION ON SUNDAY.{PHOTOS}

        A philanthropist, Mr Francis Nzelu from Anambra state, built a bungalow for this poor widow. According to reports, Mr Nzelu who saw the deplorable condition the widow who happens to be a octogenarian lives in was moved to compassion and wholeheartedly started this project six weeks ago and has completed it. The new house was dedicated on Sunday, November 19 (yesterday) in the presence of family of friends.More photos below.

MUBI MOSQUE SUICIDE ATTACK CRUEL, SAYS PRESIDENT BUHARI AS HE DIRECTS POLICE REINFORCEMENT TO QUELL ZAMFARA ATTACKS TODAY.{PHOTOS}

       President Muhammadu Buhari has described the early Tuesday morning suicide bomb blast in a mosque in Mubi, Adamawa State as “very cruel and dastardly.” President Buhari, while commiserating with families of the several victims, government and people of the state, assured that government would do everything required to secure the state from the deadly menace of Boko Haram. The President enjoined the people in the entire North-east to be more vigilant and report suspicious persons to security agencies in order to avert further attacks on soft targets by the terrorist group.
