The House took the decision during an executive session held on Tuesday that lasted for over three hours in Abuja, coming out with an 11-point resolution. It said, "Considering the security situation, the President should immediately declare a State of Emergency on Security so as to fast track all measures to ensure the restoration of peace in the country."   Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, says the baffling state of insecurity and the unchallenged killings of citizens by outlaws in parts of the country is a clear manifestation of bad leadership. He said it is now obvious to those who threw caution to the wind to foist such bad leadership on the people, that Nigeria has collapsed.
