 Zamfara Governor’s Wife Facilitates Marriage for 100 Orphans, Offers Support to Grooms The wife of the Zamfara State Governor, Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has overseen the marriage of 100 orphaned girls in the state. The brides, who were well cared for prior to the ceremony, received full attention for their beautification. Each bride’s dowry, amounting to 151,000 Naira, was covered by the Governor’s wife. In addition, Huriyya Dauda Lawal provided essential household items, including furniture such as cushions, beds, wardrobes, mattresses, and kitchen utensils. Furthermore, she offered financial assistance of N50,000 to each groom to help them start their businesses and achieve self-sufficiency. Hajiya Lawal encouraged the brides to respect their husbands and practice patience. She also assured them that the Zakkat and Endowment Board would be available to offer support should any marital issues arise.

"We just didn't think they would only want beer," said one waiter at a upscale eatery in central Moscow who asked not to be identified for fear of scaring off future customers. The waiter said his restaurant ran out of draft lager on Monday and deliveries are taking longer than usual, at least 24 hours, because suppliers' stocks are also running low.       After evading operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for over one month, former governor of Kebbi State, Usman Saidu Dakingari was today, June 20th, 2018 served with the fifteen count charge by the bailiff of the Federal High Court Kebbi at around 1:51pm in the defendant's residence at GRA Birnin Kebbi. The fifteen charge was served on the defendant through one of his household, Mohammed Danladi, w ho collected the charge and the Court Order issued by the court granting the complainant leave to serve Dakingari alongside the 2nd and 3rd defendants. Dakingari was supposed to be arraigned today, June 20th, 2018 before the Federal High Court Kebbi alongside three others: Sunday Dogonyaro, Abdullahi Yelwa and Garba Rabiu Kamba for allegedly receiving cash sum N700,000,000 (Seven Hundred Million Naira) only from the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison Madueke. The arraignment was however stalled because the 1st, 2...

Executive Order (EO1) on the Promotion of Transparency and Efficiency in the Business Environment: It is the policy of the Federal Government to create an enabling environment for businesses and entrench measures and strategies aimed at promoting transparency and efficiency. President Muhammadu Buhari constituted the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) to coordinate the implementation of this policy. 2.        Operatives of the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal Office, have arrested a fake school operator allegedly awarding the National Certificate of Education, NCE and Bachelor of Education degree without authorization and accreditation.   The suspect, John Ogbonnaya, was arrested in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He allegedly registered Havana International School of Arts and Science in 2017 wi th two other suspects: Monday Nwapi and Mrs Justina Okafor. They are holding lectures in two centres in Port Harcourt: Brilliant International Schools, Nsukka Street, Diobu and Paragon Citiy Light College, Agip area. Since the inception of the main school, scores of unsuspecting students have been defrauded and made to pay for Application Forms , School Fees and Project Fees.       A new Director, Mr. Asimiyu Amoo Oyadipe has been appointed as Head of the Lagos State Library Board following the retirement of Mr. Tajudeen Ajani Lawal, the former Director/CEO. An astute and hardworking officer, Mr. Oyadipe, who until his appointment was the most Senior Librarian at the Board, joined the service of Lagos State Government on 6 th  March 1995 as Librarian II and has been involved in standardising library services in Lagos State. Oyadipe holds a Bachelors of Education in Political Science and Religious Studies as well as Masters Degree in Library Studies (MLS) from the University of Ibadan in 1991 and 1995 respectively.
