PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.         These are not shots from Heathrow or Dubai…They are amazing pictures from the Oshodi bus terminal, where Passengers queued up at Terminal Three to buy tickets as if queuing at an airport boarding gate. The Oshodi Transport Interchange, with three terminals, is now open to Lagos residents who want to commute from Oshodi to Lagos Island/CMS, Obalende and Tafawa Balewa Square.  Oshodi used to be a transport hub that was not controlled. But order is now being restored to the  area. Thanks to the Lagos State Government that built the edifice. We share some of the amazing photos shot at the Interchange. This is the same old Oshodi transformed!.More photos below.

         The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a mischievous Article titled, Secret Military Cemetery Conceals Toll of Islamist Insurgency in Nigeria, was written by Joe Parkinson and released on 31 Jul 19 in "The Wall Street Journal". The writer alleged that the bodies of dead soldiers are covertly transported from a mortuary, delivered by truck and laid by flashlights into trenches dug by infantry or local villagers paid a few dollars by shift. It also alleged that soldiers were buried in unmarked graves at night in secret graves. Similarly, it alleged that Nigerian Government last summer stopped reporting the deaths of soldiers in its fight against Boko Haram. Likewise, it claimed that the operational command holds the bodies of 1000 soldiers killed since the terror groups began offensive last summer. ABBA KYARI ARRESTED 2-MEN,WHO USED FAKE CUSTOMS CAR AUCTIONING ON FACEBOOK TO DEFRAUD PEOPLE.{PHOTO}.

      A Lagos State-based businessman, Adeniyi Adegboyega, has narrated how some fake officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), who he met on Facebook, defrauded him of N4.3 million. Adegboyega was defrauded of the sum in a phony car auction deal. Operatives of the Inspector-General of Police, Special Response Team (IRT), led by a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Abba Kyari, have arrested two members of the syndicate. It was learnt that the operatives had to travel to Ewan area of Akoko, Edo Local Government Area, Edo State and walked into a village, which local security operatives claimed was infested with criminals. Although members of the syndicate fled, the operatives were able to arrest two, Saturday and Lucky Amos. The hunt for members of the syndicate started after Adegboyega wrote a petition to the IG, Mohammed Adamu.
