 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A JAPANESES BOXER IKKI,CUT OFF THE P-NIS OF A LAWYER,FOR SLEEPING WITH HIS WIFE.

                   A 24 year old boxer identified as Ikki Kodukai in Japan,have been arrested after bursting into a lawyers's office and cutting off his private part with garden shears before flushing it down a toilet.Ikki Kodukai,who is a Toyko graduate student,may have carried out the horrifying act in revenge over his wife's romantic involvement with the 42 year old victim who turned out to be a lawyer.Kodukai who was arrested shortly after the alleged attack,punched the unamed lawyer several times before pryingoff his pants and then severing his lower body part with the shears.When he was question by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department what he did with the penis,he said to have flushed it down the toilet.The lawyer,who has not been named is receiving treatment in the hospital,but his immediate condition is unknown.Witnesses claimed that although he'd lost a lot of blood,his life was not in any danger.Na wahoooooooooo. BURUNDI OPPOSITION PARTY,ORDERS PRESIDENT NKURUNZIZA TO STEP DOWN FROM POWER.

            According to Leonard Nyangoma,a veteran political leader who heads the opposition CNARED coalition,said President Nkurunziza had declared war on his people and demanded the president to step down from office.Nyangoma described the situation in Burundi as extremely serious saying that both the political,socio-economic situations were deteriorating day by day.The election held last month in Burundi were boycotted by the opposition and the international community condemned them as being neither free nor fair.Nyangoma who is skeaking from Europe,where he is now based said ''Security forces are targeting opponents of Nkurunziza with numerous arrests,torture,killings and atrocities''.Nkurunziza's effort to run for a third term in office sparked protest,failed coup and fleeing of Burundi citizens who are currently refugees in neighbouring countries.One more photo below.                        ...

34 PEOPLE,CHARGED BY A CONGO PROSECUTOR FOR GENOCIDE & ETHNIC VIOLENCE.

                    Today friday,a prosecutor in Democratic Republic of Congo said he had charged 34 people with genocide and crimes against humanity in inter-ethnic violence in the country;s southeas.The charges against members of the Luba,a Bantu ethnic group,and Twa,a Pygmy people who inhabit Africa's Great Lakes region,mark the first civilian prosecutions for such crimes in Congo.The prosecutor general of Katanga province,Caiphe Useni,said the proceedings began since yesterday thursday.''These are crimes that can have severe penalties,up to 30 years for example.A law enacted in 2013 authorized civilian courts to try cases of genocide and crimes against humanity''.The Luba and Twa have been in conflict since May 2013 in the southeast of Congo,known for its rich deposits of copper,cobalt and other metals.Local activists say that the violence is driven by social inequities between the Bantu villagers and the Twa,a hunting and gathering ...

LAGOS HIGH COURT,HALTS TOMORROW CORONATION IN IKORODU KINGDOM.

                According to sources,Justice Olabisi Ogungbesan of the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja on friday halted the ongoing coronation ceremony to fill the vacant stool of Ayangburen,the traditional ruler of Ikorodu Kingdom,in Lagos state Nigeria.The Ayangburen stool became vacant on August 1,2014 after the passage of Oba S.A.A Oyefusi.The ceremony to crown the new Ayangburen,which had been scheduled for saturday,August 15,2015 was halted by Justice Ogungbesan in the interest of Justice.Ogungbesan said she was satisfied from the evidence placed before the court that unquantifiable damage would be done if the coronation ceremony was allowed to go on as scheduled.She therefore restrained the Lagos state Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode,or anyone acting under his authority,from going ahead on Saturday to crown the current Odofin of Ikorodu,Chief Kabiru shotebi,as the new Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom.The judge also stopped Shotebi from either pre...
