PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.         Mr Soni Idahagbon was sacked by the Edo state governor Adams Oshiomhole today for negligence and dereliction of duty.Also other members of the committee have been suspended.They will however undergo screening before being reconsidered for re-engagement.Meanwhile the Governor has warned petroleum dealers in the state that they stand the risk of their land being revoked if they do not return to official price of petrol products.Mr.Idahagbon is requested to hand over a government property in his possession to the permanent secretary,{Administration} Government House within twenty fours hours.One more photo below.                                                      

CHINA TO HOST THE G-TWENTY LEADER'S SUMMIT NEXT YEAR+PUTIN WANTS THE WEST TO JOINTLY FIGHT TERRORISM.

                   At the just concluded 10th G Twenty leader's summit in Antalya,Turkey,Chinese President Xi Jinping announced at a working lunch that China will hot the twenty sixteen G twenty summit in the eastern city of Hangzhou on September 4-5.He said the theme will be ''Building an innovative,interconnected and inclusive world economy''.Meanwhile,Russian President Vladimir Putin met with US President Barack Obama,British Prime Minister,David Cameroon and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on separate sidelines.The Kremlin says there is an understanding between Russia and the West about joint actions on fighting terrorism.Putin said ''The recent tragic events in France prove that we have to,and we should have done it long time ago,unite efforts to fight such evil as terrorism''.More photos below.Sorry guys,i had to write two in words because my system is having a little problem.                ...

THE DEADLINE FOR THE FINE IMPOSED ON MTN BY THE NIGERIAN AUTHORITIES,HAVE BEEN EXTENDED.

                      Today the Nigerian authorities said that the payment deadline has been extended while it looks into MTN's pleas for leniency .Shares in MTN have dropped by about 20 percent since the fine was first announced on October  the twenty six.MTN is seeking to have the fine reduced and has been in discussions with high ranking Nigerian officials.MTN has had the payment deadline for $5.two billion fine imposed on it for failing to disconnect unregistered SIM cards,has been extened  but the fine imposed on it still stands.

AN ALGERIAN MAN WAS DETAINED IN WEST GERMANY,IN-CONNECTION TO THE PARIS ATTACK.

                  It was reported today tuesday that Gernan police officers have detained an Algerian man in a refugee reception centre in connection with the attacks in Paris.The man detained in the town of Arnsberg in Western Germany,is being investigated on suspicion of having told Syrian refugees at the centre in recent days that fear and terror would be spread in the French capital.He is also alleged to have spoken about a bomb.The senior public prosecutor in Arnsberg,Werner Wolff said checks were being made into whether the allegations were credible.Ralf Jaeger,Interior Minister for the state of North Rhine-West Phalia said ''There is currently an investigation into whether the man is an accomplice or a confidant.There was no solid evidence at the moment that the attackers in Paris had a connection to North Rhine-West Phalia or the {German} Federal Republic.The authorities had their eyes on some Salafi Islamists and German Jihadists who...

ONE 18 SEATER BUS,RAMMED INTO A CRANE TRUCK TODAY AT EBONYI STATE,KILLING 10 PEOPLE.

                   The incident happened today at Hausa quarters junction along Abakaliki Afikpo road.The 18 seater bus belonging to Ezza South Local Government Area rammed into a crane truck belong to a Chinese company.According to sources ''The truck was trying to turn all the way from Spera in deo junction but the bus driver instead of stopping like others who saw it,unfortunately he rammed into it.It is due to over speeding that made him to ram into the turning truck''.10 People were confirmed dead including a woman and her two children who died instantly.May their souls rest in peace,AMEN.
