PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. The 3R Government of Governor Hope Uzodimma is poised towards the transformation of the State and upon completion, it's expected that the economic activities along this route shall Improve drastically. Buhari Government Has Failed In Nigerian Oil And Gas Sector, It Should Have No Stake – Governor El-Rufai The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Thursday said that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration failed and should get out of the oil and gas business. El-Rufai who asserted that the government fumbled in the sector, said Nigeria was living on taxes, royalties and income taxes. He ascertained that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation was a big problem to Nigeria, noting that it would bring Nigeria to its knees unless it was resolved. The governor made this disclosure while speaking at KADINVEST, an annual event organised by the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency, on Thursday. PRESIDENT BUHARI APPEALS TO GULF OF GUINEA MEMBER STATES TO PAY ASSESSED CONTRIBUTIONS, COMPLETES TENURE AS CHAIR OF COMMISSION   President Muhammmadu Buhari on Thursday in Abuja appealed to Member-States of the Gulf of Guinea Commission (GGC) to remit their outstanding Annual Assessed Contributions to the Secretariat, saying that continued non-payment by the majority has greatly affected the ability of the Commission to fulfil the mandate for which it was established in 2001.   The President made the appeal at a virtual meeting of the Heads of State and Government of Member States of the Commission, convened to review progress on efforts to deal with the maritime challenges in the region.   The President said the inability of member-states to pay their assessment was threatening the continued existence of the Commission.   He also called for urgent collective action against the dangers and threats affecting maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea Region.   Pres...

Zulum met in 2020 at her place of work very early in the morning when he went to inspect the state of the primary school she works in? Mrs Obiagelli Mazi from Abia State who has served Borno state for 31 years.  After the Governor met her, she was instantly rewarded with some cash and then eventually promoted from a Classroom Teacher to an Assistant Headmistress and now, she has been allocated a newly fully furnished house along with other teachers in MaMaiduguri. ORTOM The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has express confidence in the Igbo people, saying they have potentials to rule Nigeria if given the opportunity. Police Return N303k Extorted By Operatives  The Police have returned the sum of N303,000, which was extorted from one Ejiro Ogene by three policemen in Abuja on Tuesday. Force spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, shared photos of the moment when the money was returned to the owner on Thursday and the names of the policemen, who extorted him. He added that the policemen have been arrested. Adejobi said, “Insp Nuhu Shaibu, Sgt Guusu Collins, Sgt Aragon Felix. They are attached to the Anti-Violence Squad of the FCT Command, Abuja. They were arrested for obtaining 303,000k from Ogene in Abuja on Tuesday. The money has been recovered from them and handed over to the complainant, one Ogene  Ejiro. POLICE ARREST 2 WITH HUMAN SKULLS IN ADAMAWA   Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have apprehended 2 suspects in possession of 2 human skulls and several bones. The operatives also arrested a suspected buyer of the skulls, identified as Dauda Yakubu, a commercial motorcycle operator and a woman in connection to the alleged crime. The 2 suspects nabbed with human skulls in Garware village, Fofure LGA include; Raji Silver and Nodji Kodji. While the buyer is identified as Dauda Yakubu of Farang in Fufore LGA. Both suspects who hail from Cholli, a community in Cameroon Republic were arrested on the 11th October, 2022, at Garware village in Fufore. According to EWS PLATFORM, the commercial motorcycle operator was arrested while conveying the suspects in the village. FCT POLICE RECOVERS MAITAMA-PHARMACY-GUN-POINT STOLEN VEHICLE, ARRESTS SUSPECT 7 HOURS AFTER CRIME.  The FCT Police Command today 13th of October 2022, at about 15:30hrs after an all-night pursuit and an aggressive Man-hunt of Armed hoodlums, recovered the Maitama gun-point stolen vehicle and arrested one suspect.  Recall that On October 12, 2022, at about 20:00hrs two residents, a male and a female, drove into a pharmacy in the Maitama District area of the FCT. While the female proceeded into the pharmacy, the male remained by the car waiting. It was thereafter reported that some armed hoodlums numbering about 6 came in a Mazda vehicle and forced him into Toyota Landcruiser Jeep with Diplomatic Registration Number GD CD 071, and took off with him. $9.6b P&ID Fraud: EFCC Seeks Arrest of Briton, James Nolan The EFCC on Thursday, October 13, 2022, made a tripartite application before Justice D.U. Okorowo of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, praying the court to issue a bench warrant for the arrest of a Briton, James Richard Nolan. Nolan, a Director in the Process and Industrial Development Limited, P&ID is facing a $9.6billion money laundering trial alongside Goidel Resources and ICIL Limited. Counsel for the prosecution, E. E. Iheanacho informed the court that the matter was for continuation of trial.  He said he had his witness in court and ready to proceed “but apparently the proceedings of today will be halt because of the third defendant's absence”. In his tripartite prayer before the court, Iheanacho urged the court to revoke the bail of the defendant, issue a bench warrant and direct his surety to show cause why the bail bond which he entered into should not be forfeited.

The General Manager of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), Arc. Gbolahan Oki, said his Agency has demolished over 100 defective structures since the beginning of 2022 to stem the tide of building collapse across the State. Arc. Oki, who disclosed this while speaking on the activities of the Agency, added the affected buildings failed the recommended Non-Destructive Test (NDT) conducted by LASBCA. Explaining that the decision by the Agency to remove the affected structures was informed by the need to save lives and properties from an avoidable building collapse, Oki listed the locations of the demolished structures as Mushin, Okota, Lagos Island, Ifako-Ijaiye, Alimosho, Yaba, Ebute-Metta, Surulere, Agege and Oworonshoki amongst others.  IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu Acquitted.  The Leader of the Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra, IPOB, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu has been discharged and acquitted by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja. The Court ruled among other things that Nigeria is in breach of extradition treaty and laws and have breached Kanu's fundamental human right, that the proceeding against him in the Federal High Court is tainted with illegality and that the Federal High Court breached his right to fair hearing. In a Facebook post to confirm the ruling, his counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor wrote "Appeal allowed. Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi KANU, discharged and acquitted. We have won ! Victory victory victory victory"
