France and Germany have agreed that people crossing the border between the French region of Moselle and Germany will have to have proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen test in the previous 48 hours, French Europe Minister Clement Beaune said on Sunday. The French government was eager to keep travel restrictions limited at the border, which 16,000 French workers from Moselle cross each day. “We have negotiated with the Germans so that crossing the border remains allowed, so that these tests are faster and easier antigenic tests,” Beaune said on BFM TV. The decision prompted Berlin to announce that Germany would impose restrictions on travel from the Moselle region from Tuesday. Public transport between Moselle and the German states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland will be suspended, and...

South Africa started administering the single-dose J&J vaccine this month in a research study targeting healthcare workers but has not yet rolled out shots to the wider population unlike in many Western countries. GOV HOPE UZODIMMA GIVES ACCOUNT OF STEWARDSHIP TO IMO STAKEHOLDERS.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Image
Gov. Hope Uzodimma has again demonstrated his unflinching resolve and determination to recover imo commonwealth that was looted and stolen in the past by both government officials and public servants. This riot act was read out to imolites during the just concluded Imo State Stakeholders Meeting held at the Eze Imo Palace and the 4th time in a row the meeting is taking place in the state. There is no doubt that the declaration by the state government to recover all is of the best interest of Imolites as no one person or group of persons can mortgage the collective resources and properties of the state for their selfish reasons. This act has been going on unchecked by previous administrations which questions the essence of governance and how effective it is on the people being governed. The 3R mantra initiative of the present administration is not in any “foot dragging” on the recovery process as it has already begun and while the affected persons may see it as a witch-hunt or pol...
