PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. POLICE ARREST 60 YEAR OLD HOUSE-HELP OF HAJIYA TURAI YAR'ADUA.

                        According to PM news,the Police Command in Katsina today tuesday said it had arrested a 60 year old househelp of Hajiya Turai Yar'adua,the wife of the late President Umaru Musa Yar'adua over missing goods worth N91 million.Alhaji Usman Abudullahi,the police commissioner in the state,disclosed this to newsmen on tuesday in Katsina.''The Police has arrested Alhaji Yusuf Sarkin-gida after a formal complained by Hajiya Turai Yar'adua to the Police two weeks ago.The suspect is the custodians of all the keys andd property oof H?ajiya Turai Yar'adua for the past forty years.There are 37 boxes in the custody of the suspects,but only 27 boxes are in the store.The several items in the 27 boxes are completely missing and the suspect has failed to give full explanation on the goods and items in the boxes',,he said.The Commissioner said the suspect had been serving the Late Umar Yar'adua family for the past 40 y...

                       Yesterday monday,Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt for ''The health of her family''.This divorce is coming after twelve years together and two years after their legal marriage.Angelina Jolie cited in her divorce paper ''irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and she is asking for physical custody of the couple's six children.A source close to the couple told TMZ that Jolie made the decision to file because of the way Brad was parenting the children,adding that she was extremely upset with his methods.That same source claims Jolie became 'fed up' with Pitt's consumption of 'weed and possibly alcohol' mixed with his 'anger problem'.Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie began dating in early 2005 after they met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith.More photos below.
