 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. IS GHANA ACTOR VAN VICKER INFECTED WITH EBOLA VIRUS?.

                     There are rumours going round that Ghana Actors Van Vicker is infected with Ebola virus because he travelled to Monrovia Liberia to shoot the sequel of his movie ''Bendu Sudan''.They even claimed that he has been quarantined and refused entering back to Ghana.When Van Vicker got wind of the rumours,he took to his twitter to express how he felt about the rumours.He said ''It's annoying.I checked the website and just couldn't believe my eyes.Why would someone just sit somewhere and just write what they want.Is there nobody that regulates the activities of these websites?.I don't get the story,my intention was to go to Liberia to shoot but i didn't go.My heart does go out to all Liberians and i want them to know i have not abandoned them.I am doing all i can do to help them in time of crisis''.Van Vicker response,shows his a gentleman.One more picture below.                 ...

A BRITISH MAN,DIES OF EBOLA VIRUS IN MACEDONIAN.

            Ebola virus is spreading like wide fire as a British man has died of Ebola virus in the Macedonian capital of Skopje.The man's death and nationality was confirmed by the Macedonian foreign ministry today thursday evening.The UK Foreign Office says it is investigating the incident.When the British national was admitted to the hospital,he was unable to communicate and he passed away shortly after but he had all the signs of Ebola virus.There were also reports that his close friend has started showing signs of contracting Ebola virus and his now in quarantine.The staff of the hotel where the two Britons stayed has also been quarantined,including the ambulance team and medical staff that treated the British man.More photos below.

ACE BOXER BASH ALI,DETAINED BY THE NIGERIAN POLICE IN ABUJA.

                According to sources,Edo state born boxer,Bash Ali,was at the headquaters of NEXIM Bank in Abuja to see it's Managing Director,Robert Orya to demand the release of the N150 million financial support to aid the hosting of a competition.The money is to be given to the Local Organizing Committee,LOC,inaugurated by the former chairman of the National Sports Commission,Bolaji Abdullahi in January.Bash Ali who had been having a running battle with the M.D of NEXIM Bank over his refusal to release the money could not see him yesterday,instead he was arrested by men of the Nigerian Police attached to the Federal secretariat in Abuja when he arrived the premises at the bank.Bash Ali said ''I was at the bank yesterday only to be arrested.The Divisional police office D.P.O,attached to the station told me to write a statement,but i told him that i won't write anything because i was at the bank to demand for the legitimate money that Mr Orya ha...

                According to Dr Reuben Abati,the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan said he will sue all Nigerian Media outfits that does not retract the publication of President Jonathan being the sixth richest African President,which was published in an American based magazine ''Richestlifestyle.com'',published on wednesday and was widely spread by Nigerian media.Reuben Abati had described Jonathan's listing as baseless/ libecous and he will sue all local media outfit that published the story.One more picture below.
