 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. SSS SEIZED LAMIDO SANUSI PASSPORT?

            The gist flying round is that Secret service seized Lamido Sanusi passport today as he tried to board a flight to France,despite a court ruling that earlier seizure of the suspended Governor of CBN was illegal.Lamido said ''It is my personal passport that was seized,because my diplomatic passport has never been returned to me since the SSS seized it in February.He was suspended as CBN governor,February 20 2014.Just to remind Sanusi what was written at the back of Nigerian passport.The first four lines said ''The passport remains the property of the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and may be withdrawn at any time''.Please is you have a Nigeria,read the exclusion clause at the back.
