 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali.                                                                                   Yesterday afternoon,combined team of Nigeria policemen maintaining security duties at the entrance of Borno State Government Secretariate,{which was known as Musa Usman Secretariat} in Maiduguri,intercepted and prevented a male suicide bomber from entering to attack workers based on suspicion.Unfortunately,in the process of stopping him,he denoted the Improvised Explosive Device {IED} on his body,instantly killing himself,a policeman and critically injuring another policeman that stopped him from gaining entry into the Secretariat Complex.Sadly,the injured policeman died later.Similarly,18 people have sustained various degrees of injuries and have since been evacuated to hospital for treatment.Troops have...

A MAN ''DANIEL'',RECENTLY RAPED HIS 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN KADUNA STATE.

                According to sources,a father identified as 31 year old Daniel Joseph,have been handed over to the Kaduna Police Command for raping his own two year old biiological daughter.The incident was said to have occurred in Gonin-Gora,Chikun local government area of the state and leading to the daughter discharging.Daniel Joseph,who is a carpenter was said to have been exposed by his Neighbours who reported the case to the ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development after which he was handed over to the police command {CID}.It was also gathered that the mother of the girl is late and giving room for the father to allegedly have carnal knowledge of his daughter.Upon interrogation,the suspect was said to have denied it but people in the area testified that he is fond of the ungodly act.I was however gathered that a Doctor who examined the little girl confirmed penetration and serious infection.Earlier,the Commissioner of Women Affairs a...

                              A 72 year old Indian woman and her 79 year old husband have celebrated the birth of their first child after 46 years of marriage,with the help of IVF treatment.Daljinder Kaur gave birth last month after two years of treatment using donor eggs at a fertility clinic in the northern state of Haynana.The couple's son,born ''healthy and hearty'' and weighing 4.4lb {2kg},has been named Arman.The issue aroused debate online,with many thinking giving birth at a later state in life was irresponsible for the baby.The father of the child said the boy would be unfazed by his parents'' age,however.''People say,what will happen to the child once we die.But i have full faith in God.God is omnipotent and Omnipresent;he will take care of everything''.Nawahaoo.More photos below.
