 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents.               According to sources today claimed that North Korea has created a wonder drug which they say it only does not cure AIDS,but also eradicates Ebola and cancer.According to them,the miracle cure consists of Ginseng,grown from fertilizzer and a mix of other ingredients but did not reveal the special combination.The dictatorship,which is known for making far fetched claims about its achievements,say that the medicine will apparently be injectable and will be known by the name of Kundang 2,but international media have doubts the claims.

KOGI AND AKWA IBOM,PICKED AS THE 2 SITE FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS IN NIGERIA.

                 It was reported today that two sites for the construction of its planned nuclear power plants,as Nigeria tries to end decades of electricity blackouts.Russia state owned Rossatom,which has been in talks with Nigeria over the nuclear plants,yesterday friday confirmed two sites had been selected in Nigeria and they said they would have a total of four reaction.This facts were made to the public by Nigeria nuclear agency.Nigeria with a population of around 170 million has installed power capacity that fluctuates between around 6,000 MW to just over 7,000 MW,according to the Transmission company of Nigeria,with 80 percent of its power plants fired by gas.A source at Rosatom said one nuclear power plant costs between $5billion to 8billion,though the Nigerian government have not yet disclosed to us,on how they are going to fund the project.
