 OPERATION FANSAN YAMMA: TROOPS DESTROY TERRORIST HIDEOUTS AS OFFENSIVE OPERATIONS COMMENCE IN KATSINA STATE Troops of Joint Task Force North West Operation FANSAN YAMMA (JTF NW OPFY) have commenced a deliberate offensive operation, code-named Operation CLEAN SWEEP III, targeting terrorist and bandit elements operating within Matazu Local Government Area and adjoining communities in Katsina State. The operation was launched following the unfortunate incident that led to the death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, who was abducted alongside his wife by suspected terrorists and bandits in the area. The operation is aimed at locating and neutralizing the perpetrators of the heinous act, dismantling criminal networks and restoring security within the affected communities. GENERAL BUHARI'S CAMPAIGN SMS TO RAISE FUND,SHUT-DOWN BY NCC.

                   According to sources today thursday said that the NCC {Nigerian Communications Commission} has shut down the 35350 SMS platform for raising fund for General Muhammed Buhari presidential campaign.With the SMS code,Nigerians willing to donate to Buhari's campaign simply had to send APC to the code to contribute N100 to the campaign either using MTN,GLO,ETISALAT,AIRTEL and Visaphone.Governor Fashola confirmed the story by speaking to the press yesterday wednesday afternoon saying ''The NCC has shut down the 35350 platform for sending N100 message to the Buhari fund raising campaign yesterday afternoon.Before it was shutdown,5400 people had contributed N100 to the Buhari campaign fund using the platform''.The SMS platform was launched in Lagos on tuesday.One more photo below.                                           ...
