PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.             Justice S.M Shuaibu of the Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna today February 24th,2017 gave an interim order of forfeiture of the seventeen vehicles found in the warehouse of former comptroller General of Customs,Abdullahi Dikko Inde. The order was sequel to an exparte application deposed to by one Adamu Waziri,an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,filed on the 23rd of February,2017.However,while moving the application,Nasiru Salele,counsel for the applicant,submitted that the applicant is asking for an interim forfeiture to the Federal Government of Nigeria of seventeen {17] vehicles which are now in the custody of the EFCC and such further order as the court may deem fit to make.In his ruling,Justice Shuibu held that ''the seventeen {17} vehicles which are now in the custody of the applicant,Economic and Financial Crimes Commission {EFCC} and as properly described and listed in the schedule marked exhibit EF...

POLICE IN DELTA STATE ARRESTED A WOMAN FOR SELLING HER BABY FOR N600,000.{PHOTO}.

                                                      According to sources,the Police in Delta State have arrested a woman for selling her new-born baby for N600,000.According to Zanna Ibrahim,the Commissioner of Police,Delta State Command,Miss Ewere Samuel had given birth to a baby girl and after two weeks,connived with Mrs Ngozi Okafor Ojei and her husband,Mr Edwin Ojei,to sell the baby at the cost of N600,000 to one Mrs Loveth in Abia State. She was given her own share of N240,00.Trouble started for Ewere who was known to be pregnant but returned from her trip to Aba,without the pregnancy or a baby.And at the same time was spending money recklessly.A neighbor suspected and reported to the police.It was when Ewere was arrested that she confessed to having a baby that was sold after two weeks to a woman who Mrs. Ngozi Ojei arranged.
