 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.                        Taylor Swift took to her social media page to announce that her 57 year old mother Andrea is been diagnosed with cancer.She wrote ''I'm saddened to tell you that my mum has been diagnosed with cancer.I'd like to keep the details of her condition and treatment plans private,but she wanted you to know.She wanted you to know because your parents maybe too busy juggling everything they've got going on,to go to the doctor,and may be you reminding them to go get checked for cancer,could possibly lead to an early diagnosis and an easier battle.She wanted you to know why she may not be at as many shows this tour.She's got an important battle to fight''.One more photo below.                                                                    

AMBODE,CLEARED BY THE FEDERAL HIGH COURT AFTER BEING SUED BY SOME AGGRIEVED MEMBERS OF THE APC.

                         According to sources,a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has dismissed a suit seeking to stop the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos,Akinwunmi Ambode from contesting the April 11 poll.The presiding Judge Justice Mohammed Yunusa declared that the plaintiffs had no Locus standi to institute the legal action.The Judge also held that the plaintiffs failed to establish any reasonable cause of action to sustain their prayers.The plaintiffs identified as Olurufemi Oluwatosin and Dada Joseph,who are members of the APC,had approached the court seeking an order to restrain the Independent National Electoral Commission from allowing APC to field any candidate for the coming Saturday Governorship election in Lagos state.In the suit filed by their lawyer,Samuel Adeniyi,the plaintiffs were challenging their alleged disenfranchisement in the party primary that produced Ambode in De...
