PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs. EFCC ARRESTS 4 SUSPECTED YAHOO BOYS TODAY IN ABUJA.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

     In its war against internet fraud, operatives of the Cyber Crime Section at the Abuja Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Tuesday September 24, 2019 raided the residence of suspected yahoo-yahoo fraudsters and arrested four of them at Plot 1202 News Engineering Estate, Dawaki, Abuja. The raid followed covert intelligence gathering and surveillance. The suspects arrested are Osasu Fred Akioyamem, Ehis Ehizoghie Egheomwan, Chukwuemeka Chanimuya and Oris Karim In the course of the operation, some of the items recovered include mobile phones, laptop computers, and a Mercedes C350. They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are complete.One more photo below.

COURT GRANTS SOWORE BAIL TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

      An Abuja Federal High Court on Tuesday granted co-convener of the RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore bail. The Justice Taiwo Taiwo-led court said there was no longer a subsisting order holding Sowore in detention, hence the need to grant him bail. Justice Taiwo, however, ordered Sowore to deposit his international passport to the court while releasing him to his lawyer, Femi Falana. The judge held that Falana should be responsible for producing him in court once he has been notified of the charge against him. He said the law provides for the freedom of all Nigerians regardless of economic or political status. In a short ruling, Justice Taiwo said: “The order of court has expired.        Renowned gospel musician, Elizabeth Ndidi Moses, popularly known as Liza C, officially unveiled her charity foundation, Liza Moses Foundation on September 22 nd , 2019 at Oriental hotel, Lekki, Lagos. The star-studded event featured the likes of Kenny Saint Best, Zaaki Adzee, Teddy Fresh Prince, Akin Alabi, DJ  Gosporella to mention but a few.
