 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. The city of Nnewi and social media has been awashed with many unconfirmed stories behind the death of Lady Chidiebere Iloka, wife of suspended Nnewi North local government chairman, Mbazulike Iloka (Mba Mba). Some banked on a video of the deceased body to claim that the deceased was a victim of domestic violence, while some spread the news based on hearsay. However, according to a press release from Mbazulike Iloka sent to Anaedoonline.ng, Lady Chidiebere’s death was a case of a bad fall and not a case of domestic violence. Mbazulike further revealed eyewithnesses who were present when the incident happened, and appealed with the public to stop spreading the false narrative of domestic violence but rather pray for God’s grace on the family in this time of agony and grief.
