 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The city of Nnewi and social media has been awashed with many unconfirmed stories behind the death of Lady Chidiebere Iloka, wife of suspended Nnewi North local government chairman, Mbazulike Iloka (Mba Mba). Some banked on a video of the deceased body to claim that the deceased was a victim of domestic violence, while some spread the news based on hearsay. However, according to a press release from Mbazulike Iloka sent to Anaedoonline.ng, Lady Chidiebere’s death was a case of a bad fall and not a case of domestic violence.
