PSC PROMOTES OVER 8,000 POLICE OFFICERS. (PHOTO).

 PSC Promotes Over 8,000 Police Officers On Wednesday, the Police Service Commission (PSC) approved the promotion of 8,053 senior police officers. Earlier in the week, 11 Commissioners of Police were promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), and 16 Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) were elevated to the rank of Commissioners of Police (CPs). Additionally, 21 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were promoted to DCPs, and 57 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) moved up to Assistant Commissioners (ACPs). According to a statement by the PSC's spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, the total number of promotions included 1,348 Superintendents of Police (SPs) promoted to Chief Superintendents, 876 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) promoted to Superintendents, and 5,829 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) promoted to DSPs.                      The news i just received,that is breaking the internet is that President of Nigeria Buhari has cancer of the ear and brain which was diagnosed in London during his 10 days vacation.A source is claiming that President Buhari is admitted at the Royal Hospital,London where the cancer of ear and brain was diagnosed.Buhari arrived in London on Monday June 6,2016 and his spokesperson Femi Asesina announced that ''During the holiday,he will see a E.N.T specialist for a persistent ear infection.The President was examined by hisPersonal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated.Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purel as a precaution''.For now Buhari's cancer story might be a rumor until an official statement is sent out to the press.

SOUTH AFRICAN EMBASSY,TO START ISSUING 5 YEARS VISAS TO NIGERIANS.

               Today wednesday,it was announced by South African High Commissioner to Nigeria Mr Lulu Mnguni,that his government decision is to be issuing Nigerians 5 years visas to Nigerian professionals,business people and other frequent fliers.Mnguni also disclosed in Lagos that his government was now prepared to eliminate the difficulties usually faced by Nigerians when seeking South African visas.The High Commissioner also said that his government was moving away from having political diplomacy to more of economic diplomacy with Nigeria.He said ''There has been growing concerns from both Nigeria and South Africa on the issue of visas.There have been complaints by Nigerians on how they are treated when seeking visas.Our President has indicated that Nigeria and South Africa need to intervene by making it easier for our nationals to have visas to our two countries.We came to an agreement that business people and frequent fliers between South Afr...

                                     The EFCC yesterday tuesday,June 7,2016 arraigned the duo of James Ogwuche Alex and Oklewu Ene Gina before Justice B.O Quadri of the Federal High Court,Port Harcourt,Rivers State on a 2 count charge of conspiracy and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira only {250,000}.The petitioner,Professor Ndubuisi Eye,alleged that the suspects who are both students of Benue State Polytenic hoodwinked him through an e-mail from a purported old friend by name Engineer Bartholomew requesting him to pay two hundred and fifty Thousand Naira {250,000},to an account number which he did.One more photo below of the second suspect.                         

GOVERNOR AMBODE,ORDERS THE CLOSURE OF PIG FARMS IN ALL RESIDENTIAL AREAS IN LAGOS STATE TODAY.

                   The Lagos State Government,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has ordered the closure of all pig farms located in residential areas with the State as part of efforts to prevent health hazards associated with pig farming in residential areas.The closure became necessary owing to several complaints by residents of Taiwo Adewole Street in New Oko Oba settlement,Ojokoro Local Council Development Area,on the unwholesome activities in a pig farm which poses health and environmental hazards to residents of the area.A petition from one Mr Wisdom Uzoma,published in the Punch Newspapers of Tuesday 7th June 2016 climaxed the series of complaints that necessitated Governor Akinwunmi's directive to seal the pig farm immediately.The Commissioner for Agriculture,Mr Toyin Suarau who led a team of agricultural officers in conjunction with men of the Lagos State Task Force to the location said that,''The attention of the Governor has been drawn to the...

POLICE IN GHANA,WERE GIVEN 10 DAYS TO CAPTURE 2 CRIMINALS,WHO ESCAPED FROM A POLICE STATION ON SUNDAY.

                         Police officers in Ghana have been given 10 days to capture 2 criminals identified as Abdulai Alhassan and Faisal Mohammed who escaped while in police custody.The convicts escaped through the police station celling on sunday evening by 1pm.The two were supposed to appear before the court on monday morning after they were arrested for murder and stealing respectively.Police Commander in charge of the Tumu Disttrict ASP William Ayensu Asare said ''We have given them 10 working days after which if we don't find them we will look at other measures''.
