 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. U.N SECRETARY GENERAL BAN KI-MOON,ARRIVED NIGERIA EARLIER TODAY.

                  Today sunday,United Nation Secretary General Ban Ki-moon arrived Nigeria to commemorate the bombing of the UN's headquarters by Islamist sect Boko Haram and also to focus new attention on over 200 school girls kidnapped in chibok,Borno state by the ruthless extremists.Ki-moon will meet with President Muhammadu Buhari tomorrow  monday,amid plans to launch a long delayed regional offensive against the Islamic insurgents who have since pledged allegiance to the Islamic state.A UN statement says the leaders will discuss ways to counter violent extremism as well as human rights and climate change.Ki-moon will also meet the Bring Back Our Girls group and he will lay a wreath to mark the anniversary of the August 26,2011 suicide car bombing that killed 21 people at the UN Nigeria headquarters in Abuja.

BOKO HARAM,ATTACKED THE CONVOY OF THE NIGERIAN CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF TODAY IN BORNO STATE.

                      Today sunday morning,suspected Boko Haram militants ambushed a convoy carrying Nigerian chief of army staff on a tour of towns in Borno state.Colonel Sani Usman said in a statement that,one Nigerian soldier died while 10 militants were killed and another five captured...The leading column was ambushed by suspected Boko Haram terrorists at Faljari village between Mafa and Dikwa''.Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai was appointed in July as the new chief of army staff by President Muhammadu Buhari.

MUSLIM LEADERS,OFFERS VOLUNTARY SERVICES TO THE 2015 PILGRIMS TO SAUDI ARABIA & BUHARI ACCEPTED THE OFFER.

                     Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the voluntary offer of services to 2015 Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia by the leadership of the Muslim community under the Sultan of Sokoto,Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar III.This is contained in a statement issued in Abuja today sunday by the President's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity,Malam Garba Shehu.The president noted that the Muslim community would partner with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria's Ad-hoc Committees to cater for the general welfare of pilgrims for the duration of the pilgrimage.The sultan is represented by a committee of Emirs under the Emir of Kano,Alhaji Muhammadu Sunusi II.The statement said the president also noted that the offer did not contradict his directive that Federal Government's Delegation for the 2015 Hajj be suspended in line with the cost saving measures of his administration.''In accepting this voluntary offer of service,the President made it clear

10 KILLED IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC,AFTER A MUSLIM WAS BEHEADED.

                   According to eye witnesses,10 people were killed in the Central African Republic {CAR} town of Banbari,in an incident that began when a mainly Christian militia group,beheaded a Muslim youth leading to reprisals from Muslims.Captain Ahmat Nejad,spokesman for the mainly Muslim Seleka faction,said today Sunday in Bambari that two young Muslims leaving the city on thursday,were detained by anti-Balakas who beheaded one and wounded another.He said this triggered the anger of young Muslims who have carried out reprisals against Christians.Father Felicien Endjimoyo,of the Diocese of Bambari,said more than 16 people were killed,but it was not certain that the perpetrators of the initial attack were anti-Balaka militia,since the town is controlled by Muslims.There was no immediate comment from the government or U.N peacekeepers.One more photo below.                                                                                                               

A SWISS WATCH,WAS FOUND IN A 400 YEAR OLD CHINESE TOMB.{STRANGE BUT TRUE}.

               In 2008,Archaeologist excavated a Ming dynasty tomb and they found a tiny Swiss watch found in the 400 year old Chinese tomb.They called in experts after they discovered a ring sized watch with Swiss engraved on the the back.The watch showed a time of 10:06 am.The archaeologists,who are making a documentary with two Shangsi journalists,are puzzled as to the origins of the time piece as the site is thought not to have been disturbed since its creation four centuries ago.Jiang Yanyu said ''When we tried to remove the soil wrapped around the coffin,a piece of rock suddenly dropped off and hit the ground with a metallic sound.After removing the covering soil and examining it.We were shocked to see it was a watch''.The watch turned out to be a ring watch.If you ask me,these watch belongs to a time traveler.These evidence of a Swiss watch in a 400 year old tomb,is making the fairy tale story of a time traveler to become a reality little by little.More photos be
