                       After so many years away from the Nigerian movie industry big screen,veteran actress Hilda Dokubo,is back and better.She has acted in more than a hundred good movies in the past and  she is recently featuring in a new movie titled ''Stigma''.We welcome her back to the movie industry,but unfortunately she will have to up her game,as alot of vibrant actresses has taken over the movie industry and the spot light,that is the disadvantage of leaving the spot in Nigeria,it does not take long before other people fill in the gap for you making the old stars irrelevant but i wish her all the best.One more photo below.                                                                                    ...

                The Zonal Coordinator,North Central,National Film and Video Censors Board {NFVCB}Mr Ailewon Danlami,said the organisation confiscated 4,182 pornographic movies in Plateau from July 2014 till date.The coordinator made the disclosure when he visited the National Orientation Agency office in Jos today wednesday.He said the movies were confiscated across the 17 local government areas of the state as part of efforts to enforce compliance with the required standard for movie production and classification.He said that ''We confiscated 4,182 pornographic movies worth more than N600,000 to serve as deterrent to defaulters.The purpose of our visit is to collaborate with NOA,which is present in all the 17 council areas of the state for wider and effective reach in terms of media literacy on movies and movies production''.In response,Mr Bulus Dabit,the Director of NOA in Plateau said the organisation was ready to partner with NFVCB to enforce ...

                 Today wednesday,the Nigerian Army confirmed the arrest of the mastermind of two recent bomb and gun attacks in Jos and Zaria towns of Plateau and Kaduna states,respectively.The confirmation is contained in a statement signed by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations,Col.Sani Usman,and made available to NAN in Abuja.It said the suspect,in company of two other persons were arrested at a checkpoint in Dadin Kowa town of Gombe state while attempting to flee.The statement said their arrest was made possible following a security cordon of the general areas especially along the volatile areas on the North Eastern axis.It said the security cordon which led to the arrest of the suspects was conducted by troops of 3 Division,Special Task Force and the Department of state services.''The terrorist kingpin and his colleagues who disguised in a trailer while trying to evade checks were fished out by troops of Nigerian Army.The arrest...

              According to a Disney spokeswoman who said a bronze statue of Comedian Bill Cosby was removed from the world theme park in Florida overnight.The spokes woman said the bronze statue is part of an out door exhiit at Disney's Hollywood studios park in Orlando,that honours members of the Television Academy Hall of Fame,was taken away after the park closed yesterday tuesday.Disney gave no reason for the removal but it came a day after the testimony of his 2005 sexual assault civil case in which Cosby said he had obtained Quaalude sedatives with the intent of giving them to young women with whom he wanted to have sex.Some 40 women have come forward in the past yearto accuse the once beloved star of TV comedy series ''The Cosby show'',of drugging and sexually assaulting them in incidents dating back decades.Though 77 year old Cosby has not been criminally charged,and his attorneys have consistently denied the allegations.However,his career has t...

             Yesterday wednesday,a Coroner Oyetade Komolafe,concluded that T B Joshua's church Lagos Synagogue Church of All Nations {SCOAN}at Ikotu,should be prosecuted after a building collapsed and killed 116 people,most of them are identified as South African nationals.The Coroner said that ''The church must be investigated and prosecuted for not obtaining the relevant approval before embarking on the construction of the building.The church was culpable because of criminal negligence resulting in the death of the victims''.The Coroner's inquest was called to determine the circumstances of the collapse of the guest house for foreign followers of Joshua's Church on September 12,2014.Eighty one of the dead were South African visitors to the Lagos church.Though TB Joshua claimed the collapse was a sabotage,experts ruled out sabotage and said from their investigation,the guest house did not have permission and that the extra floors were being added to t...
