 October 1 protest: Ogun court restricts protesters to MKO Abiola Stadium, three other venues A High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has restricted members of the #FearlessInOctober protest groups in the state to the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu; Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Ota. The court presided by Tajudeen. A.Okunsokan gave this order following an application brought by the Attorney-General of Ogun State in suit no AB/667/2024, and with Messers Afolabi Adeboye, Ifemosu Michael, Lekan Soneye (for themselves and members of the#FearlessInOctober protests); Bestman Okereafor (on behalf of the Progressive Students Movement), Francis Adeyanju (on behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students) and Thomas Kehinde (on behalf of the National Association of Ogun Students), as respondents. INDIA NEW CHILD LABOUR BILL,NOW PROHIBITS CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14,FROM WORKING.

              According to BBC,the new Indian Child Labour bill prohibits children under the age of 14 from working,but makes an exception for family businesses',including extended family.It also reduces the number of jobs 15-18 year olds are banned from doing.The government says the law will help poor families earn a living and give children a chance to acquire skills.However,the UN children's agency Unicef and Indian Nobel prize winner Kailash Satyarti are among those to have criticised the bill.What do you think,should Nigeria replicate the Bill?.One more photo below.

                            President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe today wednesday,dismissed demands by once stalwart war veteran supporters to quit,saying he was in power by popular vote.The 92 year old Mugabe,the only president Zimbabwe has had in 36 years of independence,was addressing thousands of Zimbabweans who rallied to support him,a few days after veterans called him a corrupt dictator.He said to the loud cheers in a 50 minutes address''As long as the party says continue,I continue..If i still have the energy,I still have the life,the blessing of God,i will continue.Journalist,tell those you are representing that Robert mugabe is still her,well and strong.This is me,and my people are going to have me for some time''.

57 MALAWIAN CHILDREN,WERE JUST RESCUED BY THE SOUTH AFRICAN AUTHORITIES+THEIR TRAFFICKERS ARRESTED.{PHOTO}.

               South African authorities arrested three Malawian nationals suspected of trafficking 57 Malawian children,after they stopped a speeding vehicle that they were using.The children were found in the back of the windowless delivery van.The youngsters aged between 11 and 21 are believed to be from one of the poorest region of Malawi.Most of them were boys-18 were girls and they are all now in a safe house.South Africa's acting police chief Khomotso Phahlane says it is not clear whether the children were being trafficked for labour or sexual exploitation.According to the police,each child had received a sum of up to $170,with promises of more in the future.The three Malawians that were accompanying the adults have been charged with trafficking and are now in police custody.

                     According to a facebook user ''Chinenye Genevieve,who just wrote on her timeline that ''Please don't leave your clothes outside overnight whether wet or dry,pack them inside,it happened in Abule-Egba few days ago now that some people came to that house with a coffin in the night,packed the clothes on the rope inside the coffin,recited incantations and returned the clothes and went away meanwhile the security saw them while doing it but hid himself because he doesn't want to be killed.In the morning the security informed them in that house what he saw in the night and they agreed not to touch the clothes later someone suggested they use a stick to remove the cloth as they were removing it the clothes disappered one by one as its been removed.Had it been the owners or anyone other person touched the cloths,they would have disappeared,this is real life story,it was shared in a church''.Nawahoo different ways of ritualism.One more photo
