 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. BILL GATES PLEDGED $50 MILLION TO NIGERIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES HIT BY EBOLA VIRUS.

              I am impressed how Bill Gates and his wife Melinda foundation pledge today wednesday that they will give $50 million to Nigeria and other countries hit by the deadly Ebola virus disease to help boost the fight against the Ebola outbreak.The foundation said in a statement that it would immediately release funds to United Nations agencies and international organisations involved in the outbreak in order to scale up emergency efforts in affected countries.The foundation also vowed to work with the public and private sector,to help speed up the development of therapies and vaccines to tackle the deadly virus.

             24 year old Taylor swift's Rolling Stone magazine interview was released on monday and in it she said her new song Bad Blood was inspired by a super star female ''Frenemy'',but she refused to name the frenemy.The next day tuesday,Katy Perry who was quickly listed on social media sites as the possible bad girl along with {Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato},tweeted a cryptic message that suggested she could be the woman in question.Katy Perry wrote ''Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing'',referring to the main villain in comedy Mean Girls played by Rachel Mc Adams.Katy and Taylor have been in each others paths for many years.The two even seemed to be friends for a while,happily posing for photos together.Perry could be very well be the star Taylor was referring to as the singer pointed out her as a foe performs in arenas,and Katy is one of the few top female artists in that age range who sings in arenas.More photos below.   ...

           The #BringBackJonathan campaign have been highly criticized by many Nigerians because they felt he is making a mockery of the #Bring back our girls campaign.It would have been o.k if the girls were rescued but for the mere fact they are still missing,that campaign slogan will not be appropriate for his 2015 election.The controversy surrounding the slogan made President Goodluck Jonathan to order the campaign banners,posters posted in different parts of Abuja by Goodluck Initiative for Transformation {GIFT} be removed.Goodluck Jonathan's spokesman Reuben Abati said ''Jonathan shared the view that the #Bring Back Goodluck 2015 signs,apparently backing his re-eletion next year were ''Offensive and repugnant''.President Jonathan wholly shared the widely expressed view that the signs which were put up without his knowledge or approval are a highly insensitive parody of the #Bring Back Our Girls hash tag.One more picture below.       ...

                    According to sources,Barack Obama,president of the United state,was threatened on monday,following the death of Al-shabaab leader,Ahmed Godane who was killed by a U.S missile.They told Obama he would hear a ''Shocking news'',not quite long after the threat,they launched a twin attack inside Somalia against African peacekeepers and a government convoy.The police said the twin attack in Somalia left 18 people dead.Senior Al-shabaab official,Fuad Mohamed Khalaf Shongole said in a recorded message,promising to avenge the death of Ahmed Godane.''Let our Majahideen fighters wait for good news,and let Obama wait for shocking news''.                                                                                     ...
