 NIGERIA HIGHLIGHTS CLIMATE, RESTORATION, AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY COMMITMENTS AT UNEA‑7 IN NAIROBI  Nigeria’s Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, has outlined the country’s environmental priorities and progress at the Seventh United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA‑7) in Nairobi, calling for global solidarity, predictable finance and practical support to turn commitments into action. Speaking on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Minister Lawal said Nigeria’s updated climate pledge—its Enhanced Third Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0)—commits the country to a 20% unconditional emissions reduction and up to 47% with international support by 2030, while maintaining a net‑zero target by 2060. He also noted recent domestic reforms including the operationalization of a National Carbon Market Framework, issuance of the third Sovereign Green Bond, and expanded renewable energy deployments such as solar mini‑grids, wind installations and clean cooking solutions...

 Keyamo blames high airfares on plane scarcity, says FG engaging airline operators


Festus Keyamo, minister of aviation and aerospace development, has blamed the current high airfares on domestic routes on aircraft scarcity, and insufficient maintenance infrastructure.


The senate had summoned Keyamo, and key industry stakeholders for an urgent meeting over the sharp rise in domestic airfares.


The resolution followed a motion raised by Abdulfatai Buhari, senator representing Oyo north, who warned that the escalating prices threaten national mobility and could disrupt travel ahead of the festive season.


Speaking with journalists after the federal executive council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, Keyamo said the federal government has no power to regulate or cap ticket prices charged by airlines.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
