 Double Murder Trial of Limpopo Pig Farmer Postponed to January  The double murder trial of Limpopo pig farmers, Zacharia Olivier and William Musora, has been postponed to January next year in the High Court in Polokwane. One of the defence lawyers, Advocate Jacobus Venter, has concluded cross-examining state witness Rudolph de Wet. Olivier and Musora are facing charges of murdering two women, Maria Makgato and Kudzai Ndlovu, as well as the attempted murder of Mabutho Ncube. The victims were allegedly shot at a dumping site on Onverwacht Farm outside Polokwane in August last year. Judge Jane Ngobeni has remanded the accused in custody until their next court appearance.

The flight, United Airlines 512, landed around 11:30 a.m. and was directed to a runway away from the terminal while authorities investigated the threat, according to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Runways were temporarily closed until all passengers were safely escorted off the plane and transported to the terminal by bus.  PDP Crisis Escalates: National Chairman Petitions IGP Over Violent Secretariat Invasion by Suspended Secretary The embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, has formally petitioned Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, accusing suspended National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu of leading a violent invasion of the party's national secretariat in a bid to impose factional leadership. In the petition dated October 3, Damagum detailed the alleged incident, which occurred on Monday, November 3, 2025. He claimed Anyanwu, mobilized by his personal aides Arthur Bruno, Emmanuel Okoronkwo, and Chidiebere Egwu, stormed the secretariat with armed thugs wielding guns, knives, cutlasses, and sticks. The group reportedly broke into offices, unleashed violence, fired tear gas, assaulted staff and journalists, and disrupted operations. Anambra community celebrates return of slave descendant from US ‎ ‎The people of Abagana community in the Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State are celebrating the return of one of their sons, whose parent was sold into slavery several years ago, Dr Griffin Lotson, from the United States of America. ‎ ‎The 71-year-old Lotson, who is now a Council Member and Mayor of the State of Georgia, was joyously received alongside other US returnees by the Regent of the community and the Founding Chairman, Igbo World Assembly, the umbrella organisation of Ndi-Igbo in Diaspora, Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze, at his palace over the weekend. ‎ ‎Speaking to South-East Punch at the Palace of the Regent, Lotson appreciated the community for welcoming them back to their ancestral home without any form of rejection and mockery.  Uncle and Grandmother Arrested for Allegedly Poisoning Relative in Lemondokop Village Police in Limpopo have arrested two suspects, aged 38 and 82, in connection with the murder of their 30-year-old male relative who was allegedly poisoned at Lemondokop Village on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.   According to preliminary reports, the deceased had complained of severe stomach pains and dizziness before losing consciousness. He was declared dead inside an ambulance while being transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.   Community members, dissatisfied with the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, reported their suspicions to the police on Friday, 31 October 2025.
