 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.  Bandits impose restriction on Niger community, bar residents from market •It’s not a new thing –Govt The people of Kuduro community in Shiroro Local Government, Niger State, have sent save-our-souls (S0S) to Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago to come to their rescue over the imposition of restriction of movement by bandits. The community said the bandits have barred them from accessing the only market in the area, the Saturday market in Zumba and were threatening to kill anyone who violates the instruction until their condition is met. The bandits were said to have imposed the restriction following continuous seizure of cattle suspected to be stolen from members of the community by the security agents,who usually lay siege to the market. It was gathered from some of the members of the community that the bandits said until the security agents stopped arresting the people and their animals in the market, they (bandits) would not allow anyone to go to the market with their goods. A NEW YORK WOMAN FOUND A CELLPHONE PARTIALLY BURIED IN HER GARDEN, OFFICIALS ALERT THAT IT WAS USED FOR SURVEILLANCE TO PLAN A BURGLARY. (PHOTO).

 A New York woman found a cellphone partially buried in her garden, officials alert that it was used for surveillance to plan a burglary.  Mary Kehoe, a resident of the Forest Hills neighborhood in Queens, New York recently made a shocking discovery. While working in her garden, Mary discovered an Android phone covered in black tape with its camera pointing towards her home! Mary contacted authorities who confirmed Mary's findings and pointed out the phone was connected to a portable charger before being partially buried. All of that alone is alarming. Police believe the device was being used to watch and survey the home in order to plan a burglary. Authorities have stated there has been a sharp uptick in this sort of illegal surveillance recently with similar devices being found in several different states.   Police advise homeowners to be vigilant in the face of this growing trend of pre-burglary planning. AUTHORITIES IN NEW YORK RECOVERED 2-YEAR-OLD MONTRELL WILLIAMS' BODY AFTER HIS FATHER CALLOUSLY CLAIMED HE THREW THE CHILD INTO THE BRONX RIVER.(PHOTO).

 Authorities in New York recovered 2-year-old Montrell Williams' body after his father callously claimed he threw the child into the Bronx River. NYPD Harbor Unit report they did indeed discover the child's body in the Bronx River on Wednesday June, 10th. According to authorities, little Montrell was last seen May 10th when he was taken by his father for a custodial visit. It's not clear when he was supposed to return the child, however it is clear the child was never returned to the mother.  Then an alarming encounter last weekend sent the mother on high alert. According to police they were contacted by the panicked mother after she saw the father on the street. When she asked where Montrell was at, the father became agitated and pulled a knife on the mother! He then allegedly told the mother he had thrown Montrell into the river.  The parents names have not been released, however authorities report the father is in custody for questioning.
