ATIKU MEETS GOODLUCK JONATHAN IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS).

Image
Atiku Meets Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday paid a visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan at his residence in Abuja. The encounter is their first since Jonathan returned from an election observation mission in Guinea-Bissau. Sharing pictures of the meeting on his verified social media platforms on Sunday, Atiku wrote, “It was a pleasure catching up with former President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday evening, following his recent return from Guinea-Bissau.” Jonathan, who served as President from 2010 to 2015, lost his re-election bid in 2015 to Muhammadu Buhari. The visit comes days after Atiku’s official defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), having resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party over claims that the party had strayed from the principles of its founding fathers. There are indications that Atiku may emerge as the ADC’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election. One more photo below.

VDM HAS BEEN RELEASED,AFTER 6DAYS IN DETENTION. (PHOTO).

Image
VDM Has been released. After 6days in detention following protest from his fans, top celebrities, politicians and his lawyer verydarkman has been released.  This proves his lawyer Deji is not just a lawyer on social media alone but one who knows his onions. I believe if Deji was in Nigeria the day the arrest took place, he wouldn't have remained in detention this long.  People are saying he should japa and do his activism from abroad because that's the best for him. But one thing, if he travels, won't he ever come back to Nigeria? And how would people take him serious when he is fighting from afar? The main reason for his arrest wasn't about his activism but money laundering. Because what does EFCC have to do with cyberspace?  In all of this chaos, one thing is worthy of note and it is that during his arrest, even his enemies(people he has called out) where in support of him, whether it was for content or not, it only shows his bravery in calling out the wrongs of N...

MISREPRESENTATION OF GOC/COMMANDER OPSH'S REMARKS BY SOME ONLINE MEDIA. (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

MISREPRESENTATION OF GOC/COMMANDER OPSH'S REMARKS BY SOME ONLINE MEDIA The 3 Division Nigerian Army and Operation SAFE HAVEN wish to address the recent misrepresentation of remarks made by Major General EF Oyinlola, the General Officer Commanding 3 Division and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN, by certain online media outlets. It has come to our attention that several reports have deliberately twisted the General's statements during the recent stakeholders' engagement held in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area on May 6, 2025. One such report was misleadingly headlined, "Nigerian Army Raises Alarm over Mass Influx of Cattle into Plateau State: Warns of Security Threats.” This claim is a blatant falsehood, suggesting that security agencies perceive the influx of cattle as an imminent threat to the fragile peace we are striving to maintain in Plateau State. Such misrepresentation not only distorts the truth but also undermines the collaborative efforts between security agen...

Kenya's 2025/26 budget proposals avoid new taxes after last year's riots NAIROBI, May 7 2025  Kenya's government will not impose new taxes or increase existing ones in this year's budget proposals, the finance minister said, after deadly protests broke out last year against the government's measures to raise revenue. More than 50 people were killed when the youth-led marches broke out last June, forcing President William Ruto to abandon tax hikes worth 346 billion shillings ($2.68 billion), and causing a delay to funding from the International Monetary Fund. "The finance bill doesn't have to always adjust tax rates upwards," John Mbadi, the finance minister, told a televised meeting late on Tuesday. "The finance bill of this year is more on tax administration and trying to seal the loopholes and also make tax collection efficient." The government has sent a finance bill, which is usually the government's vehicle for amending laws to maxi...

Obinabo said the situation got worse after he returned to his village. She said, “I want advice from the public because this one is beyond my capacity. “This boy was sent to learn a trade at the age of 18 and three months of apprenticeship, and he impregnated his master’s daughter and his salesgirl.
