ATIKU MEETS GOODLUCK JONATHAN IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS).

Image
Atiku Meets Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday paid a visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan at his residence in Abuja. The encounter is their first since Jonathan returned from an election observation mission in Guinea-Bissau. Sharing pictures of the meeting on his verified social media platforms on Sunday, Atiku wrote, “It was a pleasure catching up with former President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday evening, following his recent return from Guinea-Bissau.” Jonathan, who served as President from 2010 to 2015, lost his re-election bid in 2015 to Muhammadu Buhari. The visit comes days after Atiku’s official defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), having resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party over claims that the party had strayed from the principles of its founding fathers. There are indications that Atiku may emerge as the ADC’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election. One more photo below.

90 DAY FIANCE STAR JOAN: I CAN'T REALLY EXPLAIN HOW GREAT GOD IS OR HOW PERFECT HIS TIMING ALWAYS TURNS OUT TO BE.(PHOTOS).

90 Day Fiance Star Joan: I can't really explain how great God is or how perfect His timing always turns out to be. I still remember when my tourist visa was denied. Greg and I stressed for months trying to figure out what to do next. Then came the K1 process-almost two years of waiting, praying, hoping... but now it's all in the past. Now we just talk about it like a distant memory. I often wake up in the middle of the night to pray and thank God for His goodness. And every time I make the sign of the cross on his forehead, no matter how sleepy he is, he still whispers "Amen." Still can't believe I get to wake up next to him every day God, I'm always grateful. He sent so many destiny helpers along the way. Thank you to everyone who was—and still is—part of this journey. May God bless you all abundantly. More photos below.

Nwifuru Backs Additional States for South-East, Seeks Power Rotation and State Police Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has urged the National Assembly to consider the creation of more states in the South-East geopolitical zone, citing the need to correct what he described as a longstanding imbalance in Nigeria’s political structure. The governor made the appeal on Sunday in Abakaliki, while hosting members of the Senate Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution. “To permanently resolve issues of marginalization and regional discontent, the National Assembly must address the constitutional imbalance where the South-East is the only zone with five states, compared to six in other zones,” Nwifuru said. He argued that the unequal distribution of states in the federation has led to feelings of exclusion and resentment in the region and emphasized that adding new states would promote fairness and national unity. Push for Rotational Presidency Governor Nwifuru also advocat...
