 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. Porsha Williams' estranged husband, Simon Guobadia is deported to Nigeria after months in ICE custody. Porsha Williams’ estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, was released from ICE custody and deported back to his home country, Nigeria, after spending months at a detention center, Us Weekly reports.      Guobadia’s friend and business partner, Tai Savet, told Us Weekly that the Nigeria-born businessman was sent on a flight back home a couple of days ago. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security website no longer lists Guobadia as being in their system.  Us also obtained a selfie taken by Simon on Monday, June 9. Savet said Guobadia, 61, was in “good spirits” after a tough experience at the detention center, which was the first time he had ever been behind bars. Savet added that Guobadia is not mad at President Donald Trump, and would like a sit-down with him.

Segun was a guest on TVC’s Your View, where he was being interviewed on his recent visit to President Tinubu. Sowunmi shocked many over the weekend when he paid a visit to President Tinubu in his Lagos residence during the Sallah holiday.  An incredible story of survival has emerged out of Kentucky. A Kentucky woman jumped from a moving car to escape sexual abuse.  According to the Hopkinsville Police Department, they responded to a call on Saturday, June 7th from a woman who frantically said she had been kidnapped and forced to perform s*xual acts while being held at gunpoint. That is just part of the harrowing ordeal she survived. According to the survivor, she was riding in a vehicle with Deonte Coleman when the two began to argue. She claimed Coleman became enraged and struck her very hard several times in the back of the head. He then callously strangled the terrified victim until she lost consciousness.  The victim said when she regained consciousness, Coleman was completely nude and holding a firearm at her. Coleman then forced her to perform s*xual acts while holding her at gunpoint. She said she was terrified and felt completely trapped and helpless as Coleman had taken her cellphone and keys. She...

 This case is shrouded in mystery.  A Connecticut mother and her 1 month old baby went missing only to be found on a wooded road with serious injuries. Sadly the baby succumbed to those injuries. 27-year-old Sadie Fleming and her 1 month old son, Hudson, were reported missing Sunday morning. According to reports the two were last seen leaving her home sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. Sunday morning. A state wide Siver Alert was issued and law enforcement began the daunting task of searching for the missing mother and child.  Sadly, the search would be short lived. At approximately 5:45 p.m. on Sunday both mother and child were found on a wooded road in Washington, Connecticut. Sadie was found in the roadway suffering from very serious injuries. Hudson was discovered nearby in the woods close to the road.  Both mother and child were rushed to an area hospital where Hudson was pronounced deceased.  Sadie still remains in the hospital receiving treatment for he...

A TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA WOMAN IS FACING SERIOUS CHARGES AFTER CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WHILE INTOXICATED THAT TOOK THE LIVES OF TWO JUVENILES.(PHOTO).

 A Terre Haute, Indiana woman is facing serious charges after causing an accident while intoxicated that took the lives of two juveniles. Misty Casey was operating an SUV with 4 juvenile occupants on Saturday, June 7th. As she traveled west on Oak Street she failed to stop at a stop sign causing her to collide with a truck.  The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries. Two of the juveniles in Casey's SUV suffered non-life threatening injuries,  however the other two minor children lost their lives as a result of the collision.  Authorities report that Misty Casey had THC in her system as well as a BAC of 0.22. Misty Casey was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Resulting in Death and Confinement.  There is no information regarding Casey's relationship to the deceased. The incident remains under investigation.

 Tears flow as female policewoman passes away with her unborn child  A cloud of sorrow has settled over the family and friends of a young Ghanaian woman whose sudden death has left many heartbroken. Known on social media as Matilda or Frema, the vibrant lady — who also served as a police officer — reportedly passed away in her sleep.  At the time of her untimely demise, she was pregnant, and tr.agically, both she and her unborn child didn’t make it. Though her family has yet to officially confirm what led to her passing, reports suggest she was in Prestea — whether for duty or personal reasons remains unclear. TikTok user @Kwesi James, visibly shaken by the news, shared a tribute to her, saying, “God, we know you love Frema, but you could’ve at least let her deliver her baby.” The news has hit many hard, with tributes flooding social media for the beautiful soul whose light dimmed too soon.

 TikTok superstar Khaby Lame was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Las Vegas for overstaying his visa.  The Senegalese-Italian influencer, who rose from humble beginnings to become the world’s most-followed TikToker, has now left the U.S. after being granted voluntary departure.  ACCORDING TO ANOTHER SOURCE: TikTok star Khaby Lame detained by U.S. Immigration in Las Vegas, US Khabane "Khaby" Lame, the world's most-followed TikToker with over 162 million followers, was briefly detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on June 6.  The 25-year-old Italian citizen, originally from Senegal, was held for overstaying his U.S. visa, which he entered on April 30, 2025.  Human Skeletal Remains Discovered in Inanda Sugar Cane Field Following Harvest Triggered by Fire Human skeletal remains were discovered on Monday, 09 June 2025, in a sugar cane field in Inanda, KwaZulu-Natal. At approximately 15:03, Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from a local farmer after his employees uncovered the remains while clearing a section of the field. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers were guided to the site where a human skull, femur, and pelvic bones were located. It is believed the remains became visible following a fire that broke out in the field the previous night (Sunday), which prompted an early harvest. According to the farmer, the last harvest took place in November 2024, and no human remains were observed at that time. The matter is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.

 Police Arrest 27 Hoodlums, Recover Weapons After Naval Officer’s Fatal Stabbing In Kaduna    The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested 27 hoodlums during a series of coordinated raids in the Kawo area following the tragic killing of Lieutenant Commodore M. Buba, a senior naval officer. Commodore Buba, a student at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, was fatally stabbed around 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025, while attempting to fix a flat tyre near the Kawo flyover.  According to police spokesperson DSP Mansir Hassan, an unidentified man approached Buba and demanded his phone. When Buba resisted, he was stabbed in the chest with a locally made knife.  Bystanders at the scene reportedly subdued and killed the attacker on the spot. The officer was rushed to Manaal Hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.  Court Jails Nine Chinese for Cyber-terrorism,  Internet Fraud in Lagos Justice D. E. Osiagor of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos has convicted and sentenced nine Chinese to one year imprisonment each for cyber-terrorism and internet fraud. The convicts are: LI Dong,  Deng Wei Qiang, Huang Bo, Xiong Zhen, Lai Rui Feng , Zhao Xiao Hui, Lui Hai Rong, Lui Gang  and Du Ji  Feng. They are among the syndicate of 792 alleged cryptocurrency investment and romance fraud suspects arrested on December 19, 2024 in Lagos during a sting operation tagged “Eagle Flush Operation” conducted by EFCC operatives. They were subsequently arraigned on one –count separate charges of cyber- terrorism and internet fraud in February, 2025 by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Okotie-Eboh, Ikoyi, Lagos.
