 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. ALIA TO BUILD AIRPORT, EXPORT/IMPORT ZONE IN BENUE 26th September, 2025   The Benue State Government has announced plans to construct a new airport with international, domestic, and cargo terminals, alongside an Export/Import Processing Zone on the Makurdi–Gboko Road. Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Rev. Dr. Frederick Ikyaan, disclosed this on Friday during a meeting with traditional rulers from Guma, Gboko, Gwer and Tarka LGAs. He said the airport will be located after Agasha junction while the processing zone will cover about 100 hectares on the opposite side. Ikyaan noted that the land survey has been completed and that Governor Hyacinth Alia has directed work to commence immediately. A 9TH GRADE UTAH STUDENT SNUCK A FIREARM ON A SCHOOL FIELD TRIP, THEN USED IT TO TAKE HIS OWN LIFE IN FRONT OF HIS CLASSMATES.(PHOTO).

 A 9th grade Utah student snuck a firearm on a school field trip, then used it to take his own life in front of his classmates. Students from Canyon View Junior High were enjoying a day at South Fork Park as part of a school field trip when the unthinkable happened.  Unbeknownst to faculty and students alike, one young man had smuggled a pistol with him to carry out the heartbreaking plan.  At approximately 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24th, the unidentified 9th grade student took out the hidden weapon and used it on himself, as students and faculty watched in horror.  The student was flown to a nearby hospital where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. The incident is under investigation and has left fellow classmates and parents wondering how this could happen and why. Many students who witnessed this incident have been left traumatized.  Texas Police gave a man a ride to the home of his wife, who had a restraining order against him due to domestic violence. Four days later, he took her life. This disturbing saga began with the arrest of 55-year-old Frederick Spears on September 17th. Frederick was charged with aggravated assault family violence for an incident that was captured on Ring doorbell footage.  In the video, Frederick can be seen holding a large blade while threatening his stepson Ashton Spears. Frederick was taken into custody and charged for that incident. Frederick bonded out of jail the next day. An important condition of his release/bond was a restraining order completely banning him from the home of his estranged wife, Mary Spears. However, upon his release, he asked officers for a ride to pick up his vehicle from the home. Frederick was escorted to the home by an officer with the Arlington, Texas police department.  Texas man faces execution for killing 13-month-old girl during 'exorcism' A Texas man is scheduled for execution Thursday for the 2008 killing of his girlfriend’s 13-month-old daughter during what the couple described as an “exorcism” intended to remove a demon from the child. Blaine Milam, 35, was convicted of capital murder in Rusk County after prosecutors said he beat the girl with a hammer, strangled and bit her, and inflicted multiple injuries over a 30-hour period. The child suffered skull fractures, broken limbs and ribs, and numerous bite marks. The forensic pathologist who conducted the autopsy said the girl had so many potentially fatal injuries that a single cause of death could not be determined. Milam maintains his innocence, claiming that his then-girlfriend, Jesseca Carson, was responsible for the child’s death. Carson, who was tried separately, was sentenced to life without parole. Sarkozy was acquitted of other charges, including passive corruption and illegal campaign financing. Judge Nathalie Gavarino also imposed a nearly $117,000 fine and a five-year ban from attending public functions. Even if Sarkozy appeals, he could be sent to prison within days, potentially making him the first former French president to be incarcerated. Prosecutors said that during his 2007–2012 presidency, Sarkozy received millions from Gadhafi in exchange for attempts to restore his standing with Western leaders. Original Anaconda set for 4K release ahead of reboot Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced Thursday that the original 1997 Anaconda will be released in 4K UHD on Dec. 9. The restored version, sourced from the original camera negative, arrives ahead of the reboot’s Dec. 25 release. The 1997 film starred Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Eric Stoltz, Jonathan Hyde, Kari Wuhrer, and Owen Wilson as a documentary crew navigating the Amazon, guided by Jon Voight’s character on the trail of a giant anaconda. The 4K release includes interviews with director Luis Llosa and co-writer Hans Bauer, deleted and extended scenes, and the original theatrical trailer.  A California man used the states S/Offender registry to locate a pedaphile and then posed as an accountant to make contact before taking the man's life in a dramatic display of vigilante justice. Police in Freemont, California, received a call in regards to a violent encounter on September 18th. They arrived on the scene to find a 71-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds and 29-year-old Varun Suresh with an incredible story to share. The 71-year-old (David Brimer) was ultimately pronounced deceased on the scene. Suresh was questioned on the scene and was cooperative and seemingly proud of his actions on that day. According to Suresh, he had used California's Megan's Law website to locate several offenders before settling on David Brimer as his target.  Suresh confided to officers that he felt compelled to take the life of an S/Offender because they harm children.  Authorities are scrambling for answers after a Missing Mississippi mother was found deceased, and her 3-year-old daughter is still missing. 33-year-old Shardee McDill and her daughter Janae were last seen in her 2017 Chevy Equinox on Sunday, September 21st.  Since that date, multiple agencies have assisted in the search for the missing mother and daughter.   However, there was a heartbreaking development in the case today- Thursday, September 25th. The mother, Shardee McDill, was found deceased in a shallow body of water near Epes, Alabama. Hinds County Sheriff, Tyree Jones, has gone on record as stating "Shardee's death was suspicious in nature".  Although Shardee has been located, her daughter Janae is still missing. A KENTUCKY FISHERMAN HAS GONE MISSING WHILE IN TEXAS FOR A FISHING TOURNAMENT. (PHOTO).

 A Kentucky fisherman has gone missing while in Texas for a fishing tournament.  22-year-old Peyton Hughes has gone missing while on the water preparing for the upcoming tournament.  The Springfield, Kentucky native was registered to compete in the upcoming Bass Masters Kayak Tournament being held at Toledo Bend, Texas. Peyton had entered the contest as part of the Campbellsville University Kayak Fishing Team.  Peyton and his fishing partner had hit the water in their kayaks in order to warm up for the upcoming tournament, which is scheduled for September 27-28.
