FRSC MOVES TO PROSECUTE TIKTOKER PELLER AFTER CRASH (PHOTO).
67-year-old Daniel Wilson was out on family property in Lincoln County, Kentucky, on Saturday- October 18th. Wilson was reportedly scouting deer and just enjoying being out in nature over the weekend.
Unfortunately, a father and son were utilizing the property to participate in a youth hunt; a youth only firearm season available in Kentucky from October 11th through the 19th.
The teen reportedly mistook Wilson for a deer and fired a single round, striking Wilson in the leg.
Sadly, the single shot to the leg would prove fatal as it severed a major artery. Daniel Wilson passed away due to massive blood loss. It's not clear whether Daniel was aware of the youth hunting taking place at that time.
Lincoln County Coroner, Farris Marcum, calls the incident a "very, very tragic accident". The coroner added that it's the first hunting accident he has been called to during his 16 years as coroner.

Wilson's son said his father would want to use what happened to him, to teach others. He explained his father always taught him safety came first, and you should never fire unless you were 100% sure of what you were shooting at. (It's definitely a good rule of thumb).
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Daniel Wilson.
