 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion.  MANAGEMENT, STAFF OF ANAMBRA MINISTRY OF LANDS CHARGED TO UPHOLD CULTURE OF PROFESSIONALISM IN DISCHARGING DUTIES

The management and staff of Anambra State Ministry of Lands have been charged to continue to uphold their culture of professionalism while carrying out their duties.


A guest speaker, Mr Praise Fowowe gave the charge during a zoom interactive training session organized for the management and staff of Anambra State Ministry of Lands.


According to Mr Fowowe, the quality of the staff of the ministry would impact either positively or negatively on the quality of outputs of the ministry, urging them never to allow their personal interests to override the overall public interest of the ministry which supports the vision of the ministry for a liveable and prosperous Anambra State through appropriate land administration.


He also admonished them against abusing their respective offices, saying "Public service work place is not a place to solely make money but a platform to serve your people and build an incredible track record that speaks in your absence and could deliver value you want to create on the long run for yourself and generation unborn".


The guest speaker who was full of commendations for the Commissioner for Lands, Prof Offornze Amucheazi, SAN for his transformational leadership which aligned perfectly with the vision of Anambra State Ministry of Lands, charged them to always endeavor to work in manners that would help the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, in driving his agenda of achieving and sustaining a liveable and prosperous society.


Mr Fowowe, while adding that the commissioner has shown intentional commitment to making Anambra State Ministry of Lands number one and a reference point for other States in Nigeria in terms of progressive land administration, encouraged the staff to always have the vision statement of the ministry in their mind as well as collaborate with the commissioner in achieving the ministry's set objectives for the good of the State as land resources have universal usage.


In their separate remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Barr. Nkiru Mokwe and the commissioner for Lands, Prof. Amucheazi, thanked the guest speaker for the impactful training session and enjoined members of staff to have result-oriented attitude to their duties for posterity sake.
