  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Retire, stop watering down your brand with wack music – Tolanibaj tells Afrobeats legends


Reality TV star and disc jockey Tolanibaj has urged Afrobeats legends who have run out of ideas or lost their melodies to consider retiring.

She explained that there is no shame in retirement, emphasising that they should stop watering down their brand with wack music as they are doing now.

She made the call amid the widespread criticisms that have greeted Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy’s new releases, especially among opposing fans on social media.

Speaking in a video message shared via her TikTok page, Tolanibaj said, “Why is it that Nigerian artists don’t know when to evolve or completely transition into business?

“I feel like if your sound no longer resonates with your fans or your audience, [you should] go into business. If you have built an amazing legacy, why do you constantly allow the disrespect of being compared to the new generational artists? What’s wrong with becoming a music executive where you shine light on the new generational artists and become a boss?

“Olamide and Don Jazzy are perfect examples of whom OG artists need to embody. Stop allowing yourself to be disrespected. There are a lot of artists on this table. Please, do better. There is no shame in retiring. Stop dropping nonsense music to water down your brand, especially if your catalogue in the past is A1. I would rather you not even drop music at all and become a lifestyle influencer.”
