 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  The introduction of 15 new Entrepreneurial Subjects into the state's Junior Secondary School (JSS) Curriculum is to ensure that, every Anambra child is a solution provider -Dr Nonye Soludo (First Lady of Anambra)


The new subjects include: Solar installation, garment making, GSM repairs, agriculture and processing, plumbing, tiling, POP installation and event management, bakery, hairstyling, make-up, interior design, CCTV/intercom installation, digital literacy, information technology and robotics.


In today's fast-changing world where skills have also become a major driver of human capital demand, we want to ensure that every school child in Anambra State is provided the best opportunity to not just learn the best skills, but to become solution providers and succeed in them.


Here in Anambra State, our administration is always very intentional about the kind of future we wish to prepare every child for. With our totally FREE education policy now fully in place in both primary and secondary schools, we are very confident that these investments will bear greater long-term results for our dear state.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
