 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. EBOLA VIRUS HAS SPREAD INTO NEW YORK AS A DOCTOR CRAIG,TESTED POSITIVE TO THE VIRUS.

                           According to a New York based magazine,a Doctor named Craig Spencer in New York city who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea became the first person in the city to test positive to Ebola virus yesterday thursday.Doctor Craig was rushed to Bellevue Hospital center and placed in isolation at the same time as investigators sought to retrace every step he had taken over the past several days.At least three people he had contact with including his girlfriend Morgan Dixon are in recent times have been placed in isolation.The Federal Centers for Disease Control and prevention,which dispatched a team to New York,is conducting its own test to confirm the positive test of thursday,which was performed by a city lab.More photos below.
