 An Indiana woman began having a medical emergency while being booked into jail. When deputies  raced to her aid, life-saving efforts led to a hefty charge. 37-year-old, Lindsay Stokes, was being booked into Vanderburgh County Jail, Indiana, on Tuesday- April 21st.  Lindsay had been arrested on a theft charge and picked up on a charge of drug paraphernalia during the process.  While being processed into the jail on Tuesday, Lindsay began showing signs of medical distress.  Lindsay was struggling to breathe and attempting to indicate to deputies that there was an obstruction blocking her airway.
